- The infrastructure is one of the oldest and heritage site.
- They have maintained it well and added many newer buildings with much better facilities.
Dislikes
- In front it is good but some part of it were dirty.
- Buildings behind the main building were not in good conditions and the labs were also in not good state.
Remarks :
Allahabad university is one of the oldest university here in India which made me to choose this central university as it is the best one in my city. As for the admission we had to give the entrance exam that is conducted by the university itself named UGAT and the admission is on merit based after there is no discussion or anything.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum of the overall university is good. But for my course we had studied the outdated course. I mean we had to study C and other programming language and the overall course is not upto industry standards. However they have updated the course afterwards for newer students
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship but many of my batches mates were although their is no internship facility provided by the university all you have to do is by yourself. However some teachers are personally helpful for the internship opportunities so get in touch with them.
Placement Experience :
At our times the placements of the Allahabad University was not good and the placement cells were not active but now for the newer students they have tied with the MNIT to improve their average placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My college Allahabad University has yearly fees structure where we have to pay the fees for the year and each year the approximated fees is 50000 at our time but newer students get almost 80% hike in the fees which is around 90000 per year
Campus Life :
As a day scholar the campus life of allahabad university is pretty decent. The infrastructure is quite good and it is heritage site in our country they have renovated and maintained it well. Availability of books is good for our curriculum and syllabus but all the books that students need for preparation is not provided. Although they have central library which consists almost every books that students need.
Hostel Facilities :
I was a day scholar. And university do not provide hostel to someone who stays within 25km of the campus. However I've visited the hostel and I tell you IT WAS NOT GOOD the room and the corridors are dirty everything is lottery and red due to Paan. And the hostel mess are not clean.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
