Remarks :
The main reason for choosing this course at this college is the affordability & MIET is the top college in meerut for engineering. My admission was direct so I haven't faced any examination & interviews while some students take admission through cuet, jee & Neet as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is according to the Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. I choose this course as I want to expand my knowledge in biology with a fusion of technology that's why I choose btech in biotechnology. All faculties in our department are experienced & mostly all faculties are PhD. To be honest if you take admission in AKTU then you will be facing exams like every months as in every semester you will be having 2 sessionals & 1 pre university tests & then final external examinations. Basically these exams of sessionals and PUT help you learn a lot & decrease the level of difficulty.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted for internship in our college. Our college is having incubation forum which helps startups to grow. Those startups provide internships to college students some of they pay too. And I am doing an internship in our college startup incubated at MIET INCUBATION FORUM, company name is Valleycart Organics Pvt Ltd.
Placement Experience :
You can apply for placements in your 6th semester of your 3rd year of BTech. Placement of our college is quite good. TCS, WIPRO, NESTLE, DELOITTE visits our college & have levels like aptitude, GD & then PI it can vary company to company. Usually the average package they offer is 4-5lpa More than 70% of students got placed in on campus placements. My plans after having this degree is getting a good job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is 1,18,013rs in first year & from second year onwards fees will be 1,07,013rs. As in first year you have to pay registration fees & security deposit as well. The fees is same for all students of btech biotechnology but it may vary for students coming from Bihar or kashmir. However there are scholarship as well which you fill yearly like NSP & UP Scholarship. Fees may increase according to the time & facilities upgradation.
Campus Life :
Life at MIET campus is good you will not have a lot of cultural fests but yeah you will be having some. Like the annual cultural fest of miet is Kolahal which held usually in the month of November and December this is a 3 day event and 3rd day is the star night. Library is nice you will have access to every book which you will need in your semester examination & for preparation of competitive exams like GATE. Sports also held in our college at State level also . There are various clubs & societies also at department & college level like sanskriti etc.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
