- The college is very huge, lots of space and privacy, very affordable, very engaging and intriguing
- The buildings are historical sights and extremely well made and optically pleasing. The hostels are grand and feel more like a castle.
Dislikes
- The slow administration, but it's a work in progress.
Remarks :
AMU has a very rich history and influence. The university not only offers courses taught by learned professors, but does so at a very affordable price. The environment is very safe, considering I'm a woman. All the facilities are available at all times, the campus has a library which is Asia's biggest library (Maulana Azad). Apart from this, AMU has a very good environment which motivates one to study.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are regular classes and seminars and webinars; to motivate and inform students about the opportunities, apart from that, department competitions and engaging activities are encouraged. The curriculum is easy enough to understand and the professors give enough of their times to make us understand it, and yet it's sufficient enough to get a secure job and language proficiency.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships opportunities would be available in final year of this course. Although for other students, they have secured great internships with great pay and flexible working hours. I would write about my experiences when I get the internship.
Placement Experience :
The placement office of AMU is very well known for its amazing placements. AMU has great students along with tie ups with international companies, which makes sure that everyone gets the job they deserve (including engineering students). The engineer department of AMU is especially known for its high package placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is around 7000 for a year, additional charges would be required for students opting for hostels, which cost around 1000 more. The university fee structure is very cheap and affordable, and scholarships are available to financially weak students, physically challenged students; apart from this, there are several fundraisers for students in need, the alumini association also gives scholarship to bright and meritorious students.
Campus Life :
AMU has a Cultural Education Club, which has clubs for debate, drama, fine arts and more. AMU is well known to produce people of great talent and calibre, like nawazuddin siddiqui, ismat chughtai and many more. It encourages students to explore their hobbies and make it into their passion and eventually, their career. It also has scopes for job as the job placement office is very successfully,along with having tie ups with international universities and companies. The environment is very safe, as I said, and very supporting. Truly one of the best experiences I've had. The seniors are really helpful and people treat each other with respect and love.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess is quite affordable, 1500 per month only! With great food, and top notch hygiene. Students are actively demanding for the best quality food, and the mess is providing that. Hostel is very huge with lots of gardens, huge rooms, cleanliness and gym, common reading area, computer labs and hoga rooms. All the hostels are better than expectations.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
