Review of Sharda University
Likes
- I like the infrastructure of the college and facilities that the college provides.
- And I also like the campus life of the college.
Dislikes
- I don't how some faculties are not very responsive and sometimes don't provide notes on a particular subject.
- The elevator system in the college is not that good because most of the time the lift is not working.
Remarks :
I choose this because Sharda University offers strong placement opportunities for both undergraduates and postgraduates programs and 80% of the students get campus placement in big companies like Infosys, TCS, Microsoft, HP and others visit the campus. packages start from 3-4 lakhs to 50 lakhs. Sharda University has a good infrastructure and the campus life is good. In the campus is filled with trees, lawns and many canteens for students to sit and hang out. It also has a big library and the campus is very huge. The semester exams are easy if the student is attentive during the classes. The only problem I faced is the lack of interactions with some teachers and faculty, and other than that everything is good. There are also various clubs that you can join. The admission process is simple, first you have to register and then you may have to appear for exam or interview and admissions are usually based on the marks of the 12th examination. In my case I just give an interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I wanted to learn more about marketing and how businesses operate in a global level. The teachers and faculty are friendly, easy to approach and communicate with. The teaching method of almost all the teachers are good expect from a few and very few teachers may be rude depending how the students act. Semester exams are divided into 2 parts - midterm exam and endterm exam and one semester if of 6 months so the exams happen between that time period. The exams are easy if the student is attentive during the classes and follow the notes.
Internships Opportunities :
The college has it's own internship program called the Summer Internship Program, which provides both practical experience and knowledge to the students. And yes I have opted for Few internships. The faculties also guides the students and help them with certain internships.
Placement Experience :
As far my knowledge Sharda University provides a good and average placement. Almost 80% of the students gets placement in big companies like Microsoft, HP, Infosys, Adobe, Amazon and etc that visits the campus. the highest package of placement in Sharda is 1cr and the average is around 3-50 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is either to get a good placement or to do MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am currently studying BBA (international business) which is a 3 years course, and I'm in my 2nd year. The fee I paid in the 1 year was 1,82,000 because I had 20% scholarship and I also had to pay 30,000 as admission fee which is a one time non - refundable payment and a registration fee of 1500 and in my current year I paid 2,23,000. The total fee of this course is 6.49 lakhs for 3 years. The hostel fee is around 2 lakhs - 3.48 lakhs (it also depends on the type of room). The Fees for b.com is 5.1 lakhs - 6.9 lakhs And there is also transportation fee if any student wants transportation services, from Noida the fee is 50,200, from Delhi or Ghaziabad is 60,000 and from Faridabad is 72,000. The scholarships are merit based, i.e if a student gets 98.0 or above he/she will get 100% scholarship, if a student gets 90.0-94.9 they will get 60% scholarship, if a student gets 85.0-89.9 then 40% scholarship, if 80.0-84.9 then 20% scholarship and if 75.0-79.9 then 10% scholarship.
Campus Life :
The campus Provides Grocery stores, cafeterias, stationary shops, wifi and many other things to make the student life enjoyable. There are many events happening In the College like the freshsers party, celebration of any national event, etc and also the college has it's own major fest - Chorus, which happens every year. The classrooms are cleaned with good quality furniture and a centralised AC. There are many sport facilities and activities like the cricket ground, basketball court, football, badminton, fields and etc. Clubs like the fashion club, marketing club, art club, dance club and many other clubs are available for students to join.
Hostel Facilities :
I am currently staying in a hostel called Clanbridge near Sharda University which is only 5 mins away from the college. The foood quality here is very good as compared to many PGs or hostels in Greater Noida. The rent here is 18,000 for 10 months including food and transportation. the hostel is located near Jagat Farm Market. The hostel also provides a Cafe, tuck shop, games, basketball court and mane other activities. It also celebrates many festivals and have functions and DJ to make the hostel life enjoyable.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
