- Faculty- The faculty is learned, experienced and helpful
- Friendly ambience: not very crowded so you know almost everyone. It helps you come out of your bubble and interact with new people
Dislikes
- Infrastructure- the first year building has uncomfortable benches, non working washrooms and the computers in labs are quite old
- Campus life and placement could be better. The off location of college is one main reason. Reaching the college is a big task if you are planning to travel from delhi or any other city
Remarks :
I gave jee and was allotted jims in round 3 . The faculty is very interactive and make academic concepts clear. Yet jims lack in terms of exposure and placement, internship opportunities. Getting into jims is not a very hard task, you can also apply through management quota
Course Curriculum Overview :
One plus point about the college is its faculty. Most of the professor are phd holders the rest are atleast post-graduates. The teaching method is also very understandable. They also help you grow outside the book by helping you prep for interviews, hackathons andother events including cultural events. The first year goes like snap everything is packed- mid terms, practicals, end terms as the session starts late but second year onwards you have ample of time for other stuff too.
Placement Experience :
Placements are mid too. Some companies offer non tech jobs at about 2-6 lpa according to your calibre. Tech companies have comparatively less opportunities as well as pay. You can consider masters or off campus placement. You can also try for the few companies that visit the campus get into the company at maybe a low pay and make your way to the top
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is supposed to be paid annually For colleges affiliated to ggsipu u pay 60,000 for seat allotment (when the seat is alloted) and the rest in college. GGSIPU provides scholarship for students of ews quotas. U can apply mid year in the main campus. The fees is considerably affordable according to the course here
Campus Life :
The fests in college are mid not very big but fun. But once a year college organizes fest in about feb-march. Last time it was in bharat mandapam and it was krsna's show. Library has all the book you'll need for college exams, competitive too. Mainly available grounds for volleyball, basketball. We have other teams too but the campus doesnt accommodate the grounds required;) We have many clubs- Navras(cultural club), hashtag(coding club), fitfam(sports club)

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
