- The campus life is quite happening as the students are from different parts of the countries and there are many international students as well. So it creates a good space for interactions and connecting with different people. The faculties as I mentioned are very helpful and friendly in nature. They guide the students as much as possible.
- The infrastructure of the university is quite good and there are various well equipped labs and workshops according to the demand of each course. The libraries and auditoriums are also well built and are very spacious. The photography lab is well equipped with proper dslr and camera required for the students.
Dislikes
- One thing I dislike about the infrastructure in my university is that the lifts are very slow and steady. It sometimes get very irritating to wait for the lift when you are getting late for the classes. And , as there are atleast 7-8 floors in each block we cannot use the stairs that much as well because of lack of time.
- The faculties are little less in numbers as the university is new and they are still working on there resources. This sometimes causes a lot of burden on the senior faculties which leads to less time for the students.
Remarks :
Top reason to choose this college was it's location. As it is located in Delhi NCR , students get exposure of working industry before actually entering the job market. Another reason is the fees , fee for my program is almost equal to what a government college would charge and the faculty is also qualified from top schools in India. However , one bad aspect is maybe that the university is still new and it doesn't have that much crowd yet. So it may lead to less social networking and connection building among the students. For admission, I had to give an offline interview only. The 12% required for admission is minimum 75% in my program.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My interest in the creative field is from the childhood itself. So as I grew up and came to know about graphics designing, it grabbed my interest and I chose to pursue it as a career. Qualification of faculty in my college is quite high. Mostly are graduated from top institutes like NIFT , NID and other top government colleges. The faculties are very friendly and helpful to be honest. They always try to help you whenever possible. Especially in the end term jury time , they are always available for the students and guide them as best as possible. In my program there were only mid-term and end-term examinations. However, mid terms are a bit easy to pass but the end-term jury are quite tough as the university calls the jurers from outside the institute and they are mostly industry professionals.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is that the student should not have below 7 CGPA in every semester. Some big companies that visit the university for placement are TCS, Infosys, Microsoft and amazon. The highest package this year was 12 LPA and the average package offered was 7 LPA for the UG students. The percentage of students getting placed is around 80-85%. I am also planning to get the university placement after completion of my degree or if I get better packages outside the campus placement I will be open for them as well.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a tution fee of around 350000 per year with a examination fee of 12000 year and registration fee of 12000 annually. Other than this there is 30000 administration fee that is payable one time at the time of addmission. (As per general category) There are scholarships available for top scoring students for example if you score above 9.5 cgpa, you can get a scholarship of upto 90%.
Campus Life :
The main fest of the university is named Chorus and it is conducted in January. The level of this fest is quite good and they also call the top artists to perform for the students. The main library of the university is a huge and separate building as it has almost all the books and a large seating space as well. However there are separate small departmental libraries as well in each departments. There are air conditioners in each classrooms and labs. However, the seating furniture can be a little uncomfortable sometimes but it can worked through. The washroom are a bit of a problem as they are used very frequently and gets dirty. There are various clubs like photography club , diversity club, fashion club and dance club for the students to join and interact with seniors and juniors. These clubs are run by students only.

our course is not for placement , you will get job in many library as per your degree , if you want grad a jobs you have complete PHD in library science . there is no campuss placement in this college for this course . most of student do mlis and UGN net after blis and some of them prepare for government like JNV and asst librarioan posts

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Galgotias University has a high placement rate with the current tenures placement reaching 5500+ job offers. The highest package was 60LPA and the average goes between 5LPA.
