- Firstly, People often mention that they like Bareilly College for its reputation as one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in the region, and its well-qualified faculty with a strong focus on teaching quality; essentially, its historical standing and good academic reputation are widely appreciated.
- Secondly, It have a good learning and best teachers.
Dislikes
- Firstly, The main and the biggest problem is that they does not provide any kind of placements. They just give you a degree and a mark sheet. But they organise "Rozgaar Mela" every year to provide jobs to the students and outsiders can also apply for this mela.
- Secondly The infrastructure of our college is just okay. Some classrooms are good, but most of the classrooms are in poor condition. There are no proper light facilities in our classrooms. Wi-Fi is not available in our college.
Remarks :
I choose to come here because it's a reputated college in Bareilly. People who can't afford the high-figh colleges and go with this because it includes scholarships, low maintenance, minimum fees, No restrictions and many much more. For admission purposes , u don't have to give any test, exam or interview , the admission process is done by the percentage of an individual according to that you will assigned for the college. There will be the 3-4 cut offs in each degree. It's good if you belongs to the category of SC/ST/OBC because these categories contains less competition in the comparison of General category. On the time of admission, College will provide you the beg, I'd card and tie every year. Over-all it's an affordable college for each and everyone.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am currently pursuing my BBA. BBA is basically a business course, the person who want to do the MBA, they can do BBA for the better understandings. In this college, BBA degree in the term of studies is good. It contains 5 subjects(Business Economics, business Accounting, business ethics, stitstics, principle of management) as main subject excluding 1 extra co-curriculum subject i.e. food, hygiene and nutrition and also one vocal subject. Faculties is also good in the term of teaching method, it's easy to understand, teachers explain everything in detail and also in repeatation that is a good sign for the student's academic score. And the examination paper is not that much harder in comparison to other colleges.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have never taken any part in internship. But My friend taken part in internship so she told me that the criteria for the students giving internship is simple, just give your name to the teachers of your faculty. And you r set to go on.
Placement Experience :
Bareilly College in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh organizes an annual "Rozgaar Mela" to help students find jobs. The college also has a placement cell. However, some say that the college doesn't provide placements and that students may need to pursue additional certifications or diplomas to improve their employability. It provides the placements from the 5th semester and nearly around 300 students placed every year. The average salary package offered is around 1.5-2 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The registration fee is 500. Examination fee-2100. Total fee- 17100 The scholarship is get is something around 17000 per year . So it's good for the students of SC/ST/OBC in the comparison of general.
Campus Life :
Basically I m currently in a BBA first year, so we (the students of bba first year) surprised with the fest (event) of freshers. Freshers was taken place in a LLB room in a small room because it was examination time. But it was very good at everything weither it is on the discipline, hosting, activities and so on. Over all it was a nice experience in the college fest. In the terms of liberary , it is quite easy and good for the students to issue it and read who so ever the books. Bareilly College conducts many sports and extra co-curriculum activities in the campus. And for the daily or regular updates of the college in my field for every student they make a group on WhatsApp or Google class room, and for others the website of Bareilly College i.e. https://bcb.ac.in and for admission process i.e. https://www.bcbonlineadmission.com .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is also ok, like you can adjust with the room. One room contains one single bed, chair table and a fan. For approval, you can go with the website of Bareilly College or can visit the faculty for self-confirmation/ self-satisfaction. The food provide in the hostel is adjustable I heard that it is ok but not so good. Of you are living in the hostel so you should know how to adjust with the food because the menu is like dal chawal and sabzi and they may change it accordingly to them. The registration process is affordable for many of the students who are willing to live. One room is being shared by the two students but the room is very spacious. The students need to pay Rs.6000 for annual rent of hostel and 1500 per for mess.

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
