- The facility of libraries, chemical labs, physics labs, computer labs, elecronic labs, electrical labs and mechanical workshops are well equipped and good.
- The placement cell in this college helps students to get internships and placements and thus is really good.
Dislikes
- The faculty and it's members are really bad. They really require a better management and teachers.
- The hostel is really bad and requires better facilities regarding hostel management, a better warden and food.
Remarks :
I had appeared in JEE mains examination and then opted for aktu counselling and this college was allotted to me and thus I ended up here. The cut-off for this college is really low and literally anyone can get this college on will. It also offers direct admission based on 12th marks with minimal cutoff of 45%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are only a few good teachers in here and a very poor faculty management team. Example I am in first semester and the physics faculty left the college and now a management team member who is the head of exam cell is teaching physics and we clearly know he has no knowledge in it and teachers really poorly and sometimes we feel like we know more than it's that bad. There is no such thing called management among the teachers. The professors are mainly very less experienced. Students are being force to finish their syllabus on their own as the teachers are not compatible. Very disappointing education management and academics department. The faculty is not very much experienced in their jobs as they are young and not efficient in teaching. The exams are conducted timely and being taken seriously and the results are given directly to the parents on WhatsApp.
Internships Opportunities :
I am in the first year of this course and thus I am not compatible to get internship in any company but my seniors are getting internships after applying and the college helps them to achieve so and that's good about our college. Our college also provides an iqac cell that funds individual entrepreneurship and projects.
Placement Experience :
Companies do come here offering average packages to our college students and they do get jobs. The eligibility criteria is that the students should be in 3rd or 4th year and doesn't have any backs in his or her results. Tcs and wipro came some weeks ago in my college. The highest package that was offered was 6lakh per annum to a senior of mine and the average package that we get in here is 3.5 lakh per year. 50-60 percent students are being placed in here. After taking a degree from here I want to take a placement from here and dig my way to the top.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am paying 1,29000 for the college and 95000 for the hostel. And additional cost of 8000 per semester is taken as examination fee. I had enrolled through aktu you counselling and had expected some fee waiver but the college didn't offer anything. UP students are given scholarships based on their cast categories and a few waiver up to 20000 and more. I am not from UP and thus was not provided with any fee waiver.
Campus Life :
All the books and journals needed and required by the students are available in the libraries and there are no complaints regarding it. The fests are really disappointing and very poorly executed. Let's take the example of our freshers party that happened of few days ago where our college did not even offer food to its students. The security was so lame that the whole function became unsafe for girls in the college as there where many intruders that entered our college forcefully and guards did not even do anything. The best that are conducted in here are religion based mainly and not executed with satisfying experience. Recently Varun Dhawan had visited our college too. The sports being played here include volleyball and badminton only. And there are no actual social groups in here and only on paper social groups exist in here for advertisment.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food is purely vegetarian and the menu is decent but the worst part of it is the breakfast as the offer only oily food every morning. Doctor Brijesh include milk and tea from Monday to Saturday and tea only on Sunday. On the name of fruits only a banana is offered every morning. The snacks are really bad and non edible. Will disappointing management service. Feels like a fraud as somedays ago my lock was broken and I was forced to get it repaired with my own money as the warden tortured me for it. The warden is too bad and never treats us with respect. He even made racist comments on me as I am from Bihar and did not even apologise when I confronted him.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
