- I personally liked the infrastructure of the college. With a large field maintained daily, classrooms with ACs and white boards, the college was as comfortable as it gets.
- Secondly, I liked the student body the most. Each student was sensible, disciplined and valued the education.
Dislikes
- Strictness towards dress code. The students were asked to wear the official uniform everyday which acted as counter productive as faculty straightaway wasted their as well as the students time with singling out and monetary fines.
Remarks :
The college CIMS is well known in the city of Lucknow. Located in the the centre of the city, in gomti nagar which is one of the poshest areas of the city, the institute offers good infrastructure with green space, comfortable classrooms, library, computer labs, hostels for out of station students in the campus itself and a functioning canteen/mess. The admission process was as simple as it gets- visit the campus, have a small tour which covers all the facilities and amenities, fill the application form, pay the seat confirmation fees, have a small one-on-one interview with the Founder (retd.) IFS D.R Bansal, and you're enrolled.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is affiliated by the University of Lucknow, that means every rule and regulation implement within the campus were according to the state university. The mark-sheet and degree certificate will be awarded by the University of Lucknow only which is a prestigious institution in itself. The curriculum was designed and distributed by UoL, a 6 semester syllabus which was well thought out from building the foundation by commencing with conceptual subjects such as Business Economics, Principles of Management, and gradually went onto introduce tougher and more applicable subjects such as Taxation and Law, Organisational Behaviour, etc. The internal exams were conducted every 6 month, which was designed in the same exact pattern as the University of Lucknow used. The difficulty level varied from medium to tough depending on which semester we were in. The faculty were extremely knowledgable and well renowned with many being the Guest Lecturers appointed by UoL as their specialisation.
Internships Opportunities :
Students were required to submit 2 projects, in the last two semesters, 5th semester required students to join internships and create an internship report about their experience in real world and explain their experience and in 6th semester a research project was mandatory about a topic of their interest.
Placement Experience :
Students from semester 6th (final semester) are eligible for campus placements. Many known recruiters such as Swiggy, HCL, Aegis, VIshal Mega Mart, etc, visited the campus for interview rounds. The highest package offered was 12LPA and average package reached 9LPA this year (2024). Around 75% of the students who appeared for campus recruiting were placed. After receiving the degree, I plan to give CAT exam since I'm interested in pursuing MBA next year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Undergraduate Program costed around Rs 210000 in total for 3 years. The fee submission was necessary at the beginning of the semester. A seat confirmation amount of Rs 3500 was asked to be submitted and was later deducted from the semester fees. There was no reservation in this institute so the fees was equal for all students. This college offers affordable programs.
Campus Life :
The life at campus was Lively. Many events such as fushion-fests, freshers, sports days, cultural days, farewells, DJ nights, etc took place at the campus. These were all student-organised, by the pupils who were part of the committees present in the college. The Library was stocked with valuable sources regarding each course offered in this institute. From Management to Computer Application, all courses had research paper and theory books available in working time. Sports evens such as inter-college cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, chess, weight lighting, arm wrestling etc were held almost every semester which had the whole student body engaged.
Hostel Facilities :
I was personally a day-scholar, therefore wasn't part of the hostel life. But I had many classmates who were "hostellers". They had comfortable rooms and a three time meal availability at their Mess/Food Hall.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
My Experience at Galgotias University
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
