- I like the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly and helpful teacher
- I also like the different types of opportunities that are college brings for students and their betterment.
Dislikes
- I dislike the restrictions for going out as timing for girls is 6 o'clock and after that you cannot go out of the college campus.
- I also not like the attendance criteria which is 75% otherwise you will get detained in exam.
Remarks :
I got admission in my college through JEE mains counselling and I choose this college because the region in which I wanted my college to be it is one of the best college in that region as it is good in providing opportunities. I did a lot of research on YouTube and to guidance and then I decided to take admission in NIET. Written test or interview discussion type of thing is not there but for direct admission you need to have a good percentage in your 12th and for admission through counselling you need to have been appeared in JEE mains exam and then you have to apply for aktu counselling and from that you can take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am doing b.tech specialised in computer science which is a specialisation of cloud computing and which is more industry oriented and provides lot good knowledge and information about what is the current trend of the industry and what is the need of industry. The faculty that is teaching us is very good as there is very helpful and their also highly qualified and intelligent. They are teaching method is very practical based as they have practicals for subjects like cloud DSA etc. the difficulty level of exams is between moderate to difficult even though are college is autonomous questions are asked up to a standard mark and teachers also make a practice for the question so that it is easy for students to pass and secure good marks.
Placement Experience :
You are eligible for placement after 6 semester and there are many companies both mass recruiter and MNC that come in our college and give offer but it depends on the students and their capability to crack the interview and coding ground and take get placed in that company. Are college brings lots and lots of opportunities but it depends on student weather they are able to grab that opportunity or not. Companies like TCS Wipro Capgemini and other also came and recruited student at large scale and give a package of 4.5 to 6 lakhs where as companies like autodesk gave package of about 39 lakh to many student. The highest package that was offered was 50 lakh and which was offered by Microsoft and average package that is being offered is 5.5 lakh. The percentage of students getting placed is 75%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The per fees of B.tech program offered by NIET is approximately 1.5 lakh . Which will land up to about paying of 4 to 5lakh for 4 year program. The fees of this program is increasing per year about 5000. The college also offers a government scholarship scheme for which you can apply if you have taken admission through counselling or direct. The true scholarship you can get about 50 to 60 thousand per year. Generals who got a direct admission are not eligible for the scholarship. There is also especial type of seat which is feeling weaver seat which is only allotted to student who has secured very good marks in JEE mains exam and for them the fees is about 40 to 50000 per year.
Campus Life :
Campus life can be some time boring because the campus is very small as there is not much space in the college for conducting fest so no annual fest are organised but instead sports first and Diwali fest is organised which is organised at small level not at large level. Early fest of sports named as ebullians is conducted and Diwali fest name jagmag is conducted during Diwali. Apart from this there are many clubs in which students are actively taking part and helping the college through fest and other activities. The clubs are quite interactive. Apart from this our college also takes student for zonal level sports competition in which are college secured first prize in girls Kabaddi. Hackathon and SIH are also conducted in our college and are college is being the host for sih from past 3 years.
Hostel Facilities :
There are different types of hostel rooms available in the hostel like three seater with ac 3 seater with centralised cooler or normal room and attached washroom. But the problem is that the common washrooms are not that clean because of the girls but cleanliness process is done daily. The food quality of the mess is quite good as compared to the food offered in other hostels. Our hostel is also called affordable if we look hostels available in Greater Noida. The food menu keeps on changing and there as a mess committee whose member are the students of the college and are the resident of the college hostel. You can register for hostel during admission and while hostel allotment also you can take room and fill the registration fees.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
