Honestly, BHU wasn’t my first choice personally, but when I got allotted the course I wanted in MMV, BHU, I just went with it. The admission process is mostly done online (there were a LOT of delays during my time though), and once you’re admitted you’d have to come for a physical document verification on the given dates. The cut-off for my college wasn’t too high, for the main campus it’s of course higher.
My interest in History was the key factor in selecting this course. It’s my favourite subject and I want to build a career in it. The teaching method is mostly lecture based. The professors teach in both English and Hindi. Notes are also provided sometimes in the WhatsApp groups. The exam dates are almost always postponed, especially for my faculty-Social Sciences. Arts and Science students are done with their exams before us. The difficulty level of exams is medium I’d say. The paper pattern is the same always— Section A - 5 questions, 2 marks each, Section B - 3 questions, 10 marks each, Section C - 2 questions, 15 marks each. Solving PYQs is the best way to prepare for the exams.
I am currently doing an internship under a Publishing Company as an Editor and Proofreader. I have to go to their office and work, which is proofreading the material and editing it and making final drafts of the books to be then printed.
There is a Student Placement Cell in Campus that works for placement of students. Other than that that many internships are also provided for students to build experience and skills, which would be good to add on their resumes.
The fees has to be paid at the start of every session (start of every odd semester, i.e., semesters 1, 3, 5). Other than that, Examination Fees has to be paid before the exams to get your exam forn and admit card. The Examination fee is around 350~ (might be slightly higher for practical subjects, like geography and psychology). If you opt for paid seat at the time of enrolment, the fees is around 10,000 per year.
There are a lot of college clubs, especially of the FMC, which are mostly open for MMV students as well, as MMV is located in the main campus. Joining the clubs of FMC especially would give you a larger exposure to students of all other faculties and circle to interact with. Great way of making friends. The college clubs of MMV are also great. Many events happen throughout the year and students are always encouraged to join them. The attention given to extra curricular activities, like Sports, is also commendable. There are ample resources for them. The Libraries are great too, especially the Central Library of BHU. There is a large collection of textbooks and academic books to choose from. There’s a Cyber Library as well to utilise.
They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
There are regular placement drives that are conducted on a monthly basis. We have regular updates for campus placement drives that are shared with us and we can participate in them to choose the best options for ourselves.

B.Tech computer Science engineering is very tech driven field which , by the assistance of new tech driven laboratories, latest generation technology focused curriculum, is very remarkable field to study and progress in.
Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
