Dislikes
- The placement opportunities are not great, with mostly non-core roles and very few internship opportunities making students rely on off-campus jobs.
- The hostel fees are high, but facilities are poor with unresponsive management , low-quality food and lack of proper medical assistance
Remarks :
I was primarily interested in the CSE. It was based on the availability of my preferred branch. Admission was based on my JEE Mains score. The college now conducted its own entrance exam along with accepting the JEE Mains score. The cut-off varied yearly, so check official websites for the latest details. If you are appearing for the college entrance exam, study classes 11 and 12 thoroughly and solve PYQs. The campus has good, well-equipped labs and AC facilities. The college provides decent lab facilities and necessary academic resources. Outside the department, a lot of administrative issue they only make excuses. Once I have to take a refund, I have to visit the office every single day at administrative building; they are very lazy and slackers. Outdated syllabus, and they are not interested in what you are doing. The education quality lags behind that of other universities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology software development and understanding the technical aspects behind various systems. Most of the faulty members are PhD holders and are quite knowledgeable in their fields. They are helpful and supportive, but the college should specify their areas of specialization more clearly and hire additional faculty to enhance learning. Exams are conducted on time as per the academic calendar. The difficulty level is moderate with questions from notes and PYQs and within the syllabus, ensuring no unexpected surprises.
Internships Opportunities :
Intelliipaat offers a 9 LPA Business Development Trainee position in Bengaluru. Jagaran Groups offer 2.4 lpa Sphere 2-month stipend 7k MyRik Groups stipend NA Cincooni stipend NA SRDT offer 2.4LPA for software engineer trainee These are the companies visited, yet college is still trying to call companies. Not yet, as I didn't find any suitable position with a good stipend.
Placement Experience :
Currently the placement scenario is not very favorable, which the college justifies due to the recession. There is no Tier 1 company visiting yet, and mass hiring is not possible at the moment. There is no specific criteria set by the college, but generally, companies have them, but sometimes they also don't have them. However, students have a CGPA of 6 to be eligible for placement to avoid opportunity loss. The companies visiting the campus are mostly service-based startups offering both core and non-core roles. The non-core roles include customer support and BDE. High package companies that visit offer 9 LPA+, but these are non-core positions. The average package and the offer made vary year to year. Many students pursue a master's as there is no company, and no one is ready for a 10k per month job in a startup and working WFO.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course fees increase every year. Based on past trends, the inc. is approx. 5k per yr. for all courses. year-wise fees (for 2021 batch) cse-ai=94k cse=89k ece=84k che=79k mech= 74k The fees will continue to increase as per college policy, but once enrolled, your fee structure remains the same for all 4 years. but in last year the fees inc by 1k as i m graduating so the charges for the degree (i guess) Additional fees At the time of seat locking , i paid 20k During my admission, counselling was conducted by AKTU. Campus Life :
Campus life is great with events like Techkriti, CSJM youth festival, Atmodat, Geek Week, Dandiya Night, and much more. The library has a wide range of books and journals. The library is well stocked. The library is digitalized, so you can get anything you need from the internet. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, podiums, and well-maintained seating. The campus offers a variety of sports and fitness facilities, like a multipurpose hall for indoor games and cultural programs, a fitness center (gyms), open gyms in the college campus and in the girls hostel, a swimming pool, a track, and a stadium that has space for a cricket ground, basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, and handball. Hobby clubs include cooking clubs, photography, and much more. Sports activities: participate in basketball, judo, karate, and other activities. Cultural activities: includes Diwali Mela, Dusshera Mela, Dikshotsava, and Dandiya night.
Hostel Facilities :
As a hosteller, I am very upset with hostelfaculty and facilities. The hostel fees could be lower, as there are 4 hostel Ganga; cost 15k Trievening , Sarawati and kaveri : cost 25 k Fees are variable. Mess Quality and Fees The mess fees are 48k, which I find very expensive, and the food quality is worse for such a high cost. Hostel Infrastructure Struggles with basic facilities: The hotel lacks basic services such as RO water, and you often have to fight for basic amenities despite paying for them. Health and Emergency: The hostel doesn't provide timely ambulance service; the warden and caretaker are uncooperative, making emergencies difficult to handle. You have to argue with the guards and caretaker and warden to even reach the hospital. Hostel timing is 7 pm, but if you come late by chance again, you have to argue with the guard warden caretaker. You have to apply for a hostel from the website. You will get to know it from the website how to get hostels.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
