- Yes, when we talk about Sharda University then infrastructure comes to mind. In reality, it has a well-maintained infrastructure.
- Faculty are well-qualified and campus life is good as well as fest held every 3-4 months.
Dislikes
- For dislike, I will say mess food. Other everything is good.
- Also, placement is not so good. Hardly they are able to bring good company
Remarks :
Yes for the admission I interviewed over call, and they asked me for general questions based on class 12th and the basics of computers. Fill the admission form. Test will be there. Interview. But in my case because of my good marks in class 10th and 12th, I have to give interviews only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As we know the demand for computer science nowadays, also I have an interest in this field and to deal with technologies I chose this course. Teachers are at assistant prof. level also some are associate. In my SET(School of Engineering and Technologies) school. Their are mid-semester and end-term exams. Mid-sem exam will take place after two months of stating semester while end-will on gap of 2 months from mid-exam. It may vary. Difficulty level is easy to medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have completed an internship. As a front-end developer, I worked and completed projects in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. My college conducted a summer boot camp. In months of May- June. Created blog website also portfolio website to showcase personal information in the form of animations.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is you have a clear fee record. and other criteria is decided by the company. Accenture, HCL, 3- Meadows, Cyber-Sigma, To the new, Info-edge, etc.. 20% get placed. Looking for the job after completing my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I joined its fees were 170000 for 1st year and increased over the year in the current year I paid 202605. To pay fees thier is your choice to pay semester-wise or year-wise as per your convenience. In year-wise their if profit of 5000 while in semester wise you have to pay 5000 extra. Yes, there are scholarships provided by Sharda University based on your CGPA they give scholarships to the top 100 students. That fee which I mentioned is after getting the scholarship. The scholarship is divided into 3 levels 100%,40%, and 10%.
Campus Life :
One of the biggest fest is chorus which goes 2-3 days. Having all types of activity in that 2-3 days. Sports, music, singing, dance, poster making, DJ nights, etc.. The campus is best for the student who is looking to explore the curricular activity and up skills themselves. Yes, there are various clubs to join.
Hostel Facilities :
Infrastructure is good overall but mess food is mess food average. But I will say some time below-average. We can complain to a higher authority. Also, there is a group of student who have meetings with the mess in charge and wardens of hostels on food. And In every months menu get change. At time of admission you have to ask for a Hostel in 1st year after that you will get notified by mail form the hostel in the coming year. There is a limited site in hostel. Also for pg and rented room, you can search in beta 1, beta 2, gamma 1, alpha 1, delta 2. I suggest in the first year prefer for campus hostel and for 2nd year you can rent a room over the pg or outside hostel. if not going to take campus hostel than.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
