Remarks :
The main factor that made me choose this university was the availability of Film courses in the Delhi NCR region for bachelor's degree. The admission process for this course is rather simple. Early students have to give an examination of the university called SUAT in which logical reasoning and aptitude questions are asked of the applying student. The instruction for the exam is provided by the counselor that the college assassins per student. the exam is very easy and anything above 40% will be considered passed. After the exam, there will be an interview round. In my case, a senior faculty from the same department of the college took the interview over the phone call asking what my interests are in the film field.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is designed in such a way that by the time the film student is in the second year, they will forget that they chose a film degree. The first year is full of Journalism theories and zero practical. The faculty consists of the top academicians but less of professors with actual on-ground experience. Only a handful of faculty are there to make students understand the basics of filmmaking. The term exams are held on time and the difficulty level is moderate. If the student prepares the study material provided by the faculty they will score good marks in the exam.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship opportunities in this course as of the fifth semester. The course makes us make a few documentaries and short films as final projects that can add in the CV and enhance it. Outside the campus internship opportunities are available.
Placement Experience :
As I'm still in my second year I am not that aware of the placement in the course. The university provides options to choose and do your internship in the final semester of the college. My plans after getting this degree are to work in the field of filmmaking particularly in the field of cinematography and lighting.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees 2023 1st year 200000 2nd year 206000 3rd year 212180 Registration fee 5000, admission fee 20,000, Examination fee 12,000. Scholarship are provided on SUAT scores, CBSE 12th board results and CUET scores. The university provides gold silver and bronze category scholarships based on the timing of the admission of the student. Maximum scholarship of 100% and a minimum of 10% is available on the tuition fee.
Campus Life :
The campus size of the university is huge. there are lots of places for students to enjoy their campus life. there are gardens, cafes, and student hangout spots in the university available for the students. the classrooms of the university are equipped with a comfortable bench, centralized air conditions, big windows for the natural sunlight, and technologically advanced smartboards, topped with the high-speed internet for each and every student. each department has its own library and has a central university library with quite study spots . the university offers various clubs for the students some of the unique one includes ; diversity club , anchoring club , radio club , which also runs a social community radio station called suno sharda 90.8 FM.'
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is good and better than the hostels outside the campus. The mess provides a variety of options to choose from according to the needs of individual students. The infrastructure however is not up to the price we pay for the hostel room. No electrical appliances is allowed to be kept in the room and no common facilities like refrigerators, induction, washing machine, etc. the prices are affordable for the non AC rooms but the price Ac rooms are unacceptable.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
