Review of Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow

- Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very simple; actually, it was an ashram; now they converted it into a university. That's why we have only one huge building and every course has a separate floor. We have a total of three floors. We have an auditorium, canteen, sports facilities, library and multiple labs.
- Faculty: I can't say faculty are very experienced and very highly educated but ya they explain there subjects quite well and the curriculum is not very strict and hectic it gives students time and room to think outside the curriculum. In my course Exams held 2 times a semester one is sessional exams and other is semester.
Dislikes
- Faculty:- faculty members are okay but they don't co-operate with the students problem and the management is quite distrubing, while taking addmission they treat you with good deeds but after that they don't get to listen to your problem.. Infrastructure:- infrastructure is quite but it is in the process of growing, but the benches in the classroom and ground is not up to the mark as I have faced problems while sitting on the benches
- Others:-If you want to take graduation seriously, I would not recommend this university because the knowledge of faculty members is just average.
Remarks :
As i wanted to pursue my career in research field and the lack of course of biotechnology made me choose this college as the fee structure of bsc biotechnology course is moderate and affordable... The admission process of MUIT is quite easy as you get admission on the basic eligibility of clearing Class 12 or its equivalent in Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% from a recognised board to get admission in BSc Their registration fees is around 500..
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum in MUIT: Faculty members are good but academics are not up to the mark. If you want to take graduation seriously, I would not recommend this university because the knowledge of faculty members is just average.The course curriculum is relevant. It's beneficial but I will say practical knowledge is also needed for experience.There are two semester exams every year, and the paper level is moderate. Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. They opt for renewable sources of energy, as they installed solar panels on the roof of college. Classrooms are good, but the seating can be improved, as it is slightly comfortable to sit on a chair. Overall, infrastructure is good.Faculty: Faculty members are good, but not everyone. A few faculty members are good. The major problem is they don't listen to students' problems carefully and try to blame them. I wasn't satisfied with faculty members, especially those in higher posts who are from the administrative department.
Internships Opportunities :
Haven't get any opportunity for intership But surely looking for the internship in the future as many teachers have told us that there will be opportunities that will be provided to the students in the future
Placement Experience :
Placements: I don't know much about placements at Maharishi University Lucknow, as I haven't heard anything good about placements currently. Especially from batchmates and seniors, or either from our branch or another. The percentage of students placed in our course is about 5-10%. The mediam package is about 5-10 lakh. The top recruiting companies that come for placement are basically for BTech and BPharma graduates, which include Wipro, Infosys, IBM, and Tata. The placement is quite impressive in that field.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The B.Sc course fee at MUIT is generally around ?1.44 Lakhs to ?1.6 Lakhs for the entire duration, with the fee being distributed across semesters throughout the course, making it roughly ?36,000 - ?40,000 ,Course Fees: INR 30000 per year,Fees and Financial Aid-30 thousand rupees is yearly fees I payed.plus 2 thousand examination fee will be extra charged 2 times in year semester wise.fees is depend on your merit of 12th class. ADMISSION-I pay 40,000 rs as my fee for bba per year and my course is of three years so totally i had paid 1,20,000rs.Interested applicants must fulfill the basic eligibility of clearing Class 12 or its equivalent in Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% from a recognised board to get admission in BSc programme offered at MUIT Lucknow.MUIT offers scholarships for meritorious students and students possessing exemplary skills in sports, performing arts or literary skills. Merit-cum-means scholarships are also available for other categories of student
Campus Life :
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, There is a happy and ragging-free campus with almost all amenities. The library is available for self-study. The food quality at the canteen is not up to the mark, but it is manageable. Facilities like labs, library, canteen, hostel, halls, auditorium, projectors, etc., were available for the students. The library and labs of the college were well-stocked with the necessary equipment and books.Overall, infrastructure is good. Others:-The labs should be more interactive, according to me for this course. Yearly events such as the Arihant Fest and occasionally the Fest are organized on campus. Multiple sports facilities were available for the students. For our college students graduation events were conducted once in three years. Our college really meant for it's average facilitations. Also they have all the necessary equipments in laboratories in an limited number. So only one can do the experiments at a time.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel but i have heard from my classmate that the hostel life is average, the room are good but the food quality is average in the mess , ac and without ac rooms are available in the hostel

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
