- There are a lot of grounds/courts for various sports if you're interested
- There are 2 in campus cafes for snacks but they're not cheap
Dislikes
- The first thing is the heavily limited outings. In cars of emergencies, permission from hostel warden is required
- Lots and lots of fines, if you do not abide by the strict regulations of the college, there is a disciplinary committee that decides your punishment in case of serious breach of rules
Remarks :
I got this college through NEET UG exam Good aspects 1- faculty is present during college hours, a strict academic time table is followed through the year Bad aspects 1-mess food is below par for the fees, also none of the workers ever wash their hands 2- rooms are not cleaned regularly, you'll have to remind the worker again and again 3- Heavy restriction on going out of campus. In a week you get 3 days(Sunday included)+ government holidays of outing for 4 hrs only.. so that is a major problem if you like being free 3- Lots and lots of fines, be it coming late to hostel or taking a day of from college without ore informed valid reasons, you will be fined, a lot 4- you're not allowed any vehicle despite being legal driving age Admission process is lengthy and annoying, I remember standing for 10 hrs straight so I could get things done in time.. first is a zonal center for counseling then a college center for legal stuff.. then to college for depositing the first fee
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course only to become a doctor, that is the only reason I am here The faculty is well qualified for the most part, not everyone teaches at the best level, but no one ignores the students either The exams here are held regularly, and are really tough, you're expected to score a minimum of 50% in every subject in every exam, be it theory or viva or mcqs
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is mandatory after completing MBBS and everyone has to do it Stipend here is Rs 6000/month. You'll have to work alongside various departments from time to time, that is made clear in the beginning. You'll get 12-15 complimentary leaves per year which have to be sanctioned beforehand.. unsanctioned leaves will result in extension of your internship.. there is mandatory daily biometric attendance for internship failing which you'll be fined which gets cut from your stipend
Placement Experience :
You'll get your MBBS degree after 4 yrs followed by 1 year of internship here. At the end of the internship, you can appear in NEET PG for further qualification You can choose to work as a medical officer or as a non-PG JR as well with just an MBBS degree. The salary depends on which hospital you work for, but you can expect to get a decent paying job with just an MBBS degree.. My plan is to appear in NEET PG and get further qualifications for myself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for my(2020) MBBS batch is as follows- Tuition fees- Rs 12,26,000 yearly Hostel fees- (For non AC rooms) in sharing(without attached bathroom): Rs 1,50,000 yearly Apart from this, they took Rs 80,000 at the start of course under "Miscellaneous Charges" They also took Rs 3,00,000 as a security deposit Apart from all this, they take Rs 50,000 per year as "Examination fees" this amount differs from batch to batch All the fees are taken one year in advance eg: if you're in 2nd year, you'll pay fees for 3rd year then only. I, with a sharing non AC non attached hostel, give this college a total of Rs 15,06,000 yearly No scholarship or financial aid here
Campus Life :
Life at campus really depends on you, if you're an introvert,you'll love the restrictions and being alone among thousands.. but if you're someone who loves to explore and go out daily, you'll hate it here The library is decent and has most books for MBBS that one may need, you can issue those weekly In lecture theaters which are equipped with ac, there is a projector for ppt presentations and a smart board for the faculty There are separate football,cricket grounds. There is basketball, volleyball and badminton courts. Table tennis tables are also there The gym here is too small for the no. of people so it is mostly crowded. There is separate gym for girls There are no clubs or anything like that here, only social gatherings for students is the cultural fest and a different sports meet for which the students have to organise everything themselves, pay out of their own pocket while the college takes money from us for using their ground
Hostel Facilities :
In sharing (with attached bathroom) : Rs 1,75,000 yearly Single room (without attached bathroom): Rs 1,75,000 yearly Single room (with attached bathroom): Rs:2,00,000 yearly For AC rooms, you'll have to pay Rs 50,000 extra and you have to pay for the electricity yourself as a meter is also installed

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
