- I love the infrastructure of Amity, Noida, it's classy and perfectly chic, offering various activities, a swimming pool, a huge sports ground, 50 plus cafeterias, a medical care in each block, a whole building dedicated to Gaming zone, a hair salon. Perfect for overall upbringing and needs of a student.
- I am personally a fan of the Central library in H-block, it gives me peaceful environment to just sit in a corner and lock into my study time without being bothered or disturbed at all. The timings of the central library are from 8 AM - 8 PM. It is my favourite corner of my college life.
Remarks :
The reason for choosing Amity Law School was precisely because it is one of the few institutions who provide a 1 year course for LLM. The Faculty is extremely intelligent and well-read, they pay heed to each of their students needs individually unlike other professors. In hindsight it was an enlightening decision to join Amity because the course curriculum offered is top notch and so is the education. During the course of my admission, a personal interview is conducted individually for each student by the faculty of the course they apply for, the interview is both offline and online for students who live in remote areas and cannot visit Amity, Noida personally. The interview was very smooth, i was asked basic questions about why i was interested in law, what were my future plans after LLM, it was a concise yet impactful interview to judge a student's acumen for their areas of interest and if they are a good fit for the institution.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Faculties provided to us are all PHD holders themselves and are very well educated, the impactful teaching they offer goes beyond the classroom, making future Advocates ready for courtrooms and real life situations. Their teaching methods help students to interconnect between various topics, they basically learn each students name, which is what i personally found really wholesome, it is a rare event to witness in a post-grad course. Each of our semester has 5 subjects, in 2nd semester each student is supposed to make a Dissertation which holds a huge amount of grade point and value to each post-grad student. The exams are conducted in a timely manner, My session begun in August and my exams were in December for 1st sem, my 2nd sem exams will be conducted in May 2025. The level of questions is between moderate to difficult, but a student who attends all classes and maintains attendance above 75% can easily score above 70% because the marking is pretty lenient.
Internships Opportunities :
Each student is post-graduation is supposed to make Dissertation which amounts for a huge grade-point in final semester. A topic of interest has to be chosen and researched upon for 3 months, and Weekly Progress report of the same is submitted and signed by the faculty each Monday for 3 months, guaranteeing the work undertaken by student heads in the right direction of research. My topic is equally thrilling and has offered me a great insight into Law as a subject already; Legal and Ethical implications of Crime in the Metaverse and Virtual gaming world. It is so exciting to be able to work on a topic of my choice as a post-grad scholar, it keeps my motivation and curiosity equally high for learning new things and making a superb grade point for the betterment of my future-endeavors.
Placement Experience :
Amity Law School has a placement centre that provides jobs after Graduation, Amizone is the website that has each students individual accounts related to fee, placement, id card, parking information, course curriculum etc. While taking admission a student has to update on Amizone if they want to be a part of the placement process at a later stage. It helps us track our attendance, check our marks, keep in touch with our faculty, all in all an amazing user-interface to keep each Amitian updated about all the social events.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester fees for my course is 68,500/- exactly, LLM is offered for 1 year in Amity Law School and thus is summed up in basically 2 semesters. The fees for the 2 semesters is 68,500/- Rs precisely. Also a student is supposed to pay 20,000/- in the first semester as a security deposit. The student getting enrolled is also supposed to sign Indemnity Bonds, and submit the original Provisional certificate of graduation from previous college. The admission process also includes an online/offline interview in lieu of the admission, which is pretty laid back and easy to pass. Amity also offers 20% fee concession if the student has scored above 80% in school 12th class, or above 55% in graduation. The fee for the students scoring below 55% is 20% higher. Amity also offers fee concession according to merit-based scholarships and financial aid for students in need. At the end of each course, a monetary award of 50,000/- is awarded to a student who obtains distinction in the course.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is beyond amazing, a diverse range of activities are available, Amity, Noida has above 50 eatries inside the campus itself. Gaming zones, a huge central library in H-Block, Hair salon, Subway, Nirula's, cool cafe's are all part of an Amitians life. Amity, Noida is a huge campus and is thus divided in various blocks to help new students navigate it pretty easily, it also has 6 separate entry and exit gates. The central Library is similar to the structure of International University libraries, it is rather huge and offers a ide range of selection of books, magazines etc. Everyday is a special event in Amity campus, from Traditional day, Diwali, Onam, women's day to Sport's day, each week there are on average 2-3 cultural events lined up to keep the students technologically advanced yet grounded. The main event is Amity Youth Fest which will be organised this year from 28 Feb'25- 1 March'5, it is the best fest of the year for each Amitian.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not availed the facilities for hostel, but most of class mates praise the dorm rooms alot, they say it looks like hogwarts and i agree because the architecture of the building is beautiful and made to feel a student at home.

And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
