Honest review of AKGEC
Likes
- Infrastructure of college is like very aesthetic
- Campus Life is also good if you get some friends
Remarks :
As AKGEC was the best known college which comes under AKTU became the reason for choosing this college. I got admission through JEE-MAINS and there are no group discussion, interview or written test if you are taking admission through JEE-MAINS score.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is handled by AKTU which is much much outdated, they need to change it . The college faculty are like good but not best . Here exams takes place like every month but they are not that hard.
Internships Opportunities :
I am in 3rd semester, so till now I haven't opted for any internship. If you want to you can do part time internships . College doesn't provide any internship opportunities. You have to look for it by yourself.
Placement Experience :
Placement are provided by the on campus placement but it is not too high . For internship you have to look by yourself. They don't provide a hand for internships . This college also have startup friendly environment
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In first year I paid around Rs. 1,40,000 that was my academic yearly fee . From second year academic yearly fee is Rs. 1,20,000. This academic fee includes tution fee , development fee , caution fee , etc. You can get scholarship of around Rs. 60,000 annually from U.P government if your annual family income is less than or equal to Rs. 2,00,000 .
Campus Life :
There are no fest organized in our college . You will only get fresher party and one kite flying event each year. Library is quite good in our college. It has variety of books and very spacious. There are also several clubs .

My Experience at Galgotias University
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.
Great University, Must Visit
Placement Experience :
The placement are nice, this year the Highest package was of 60 Lakh and the Average package was of 5.4 Lakh. There are a lot of internships oppourtinity also so you get to experience Industry work during you 3rd year which gives you a heads up.

College Diary
Placement Experience :
In the final years some placements are coming for skilled students who have work experience After the degree the lowest package was around 3.5Lpa and the highest was around 10 lpa. Many production house are hiring actors assistant directors editors as well as cinematographers but the thing is no big major production house are entering colleges for placements.its easy to get placement as editor cameraman but being an actor and director one has to prove themselves and hàs to build their own portfolio as the lesson college taught us is one can only only help oneself and the college is just for degree.
About my college
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's a private college so we can't expect something great we need to manage our studies ourselves . Teachers are quite confused for whatever they teach. The environment is also not that good. I would suggest that you can get a better college from this
