Here is the revieiw of my college in terms of infra, faculty and campus life.
Likes
- No matter college infrastructure is so good each department having separate buildings, like Ayurvedic Department having other building, Engineering and Management department having other building, Bcom and BBA department having other building and pharmaceutical having other building so every department is having their separate buildings(GITM, GIHSM, GAMC, GIPS) these all are comes under Goel Group of Institutions
- Faculty is good and they will understand your problem, they also provide you a distance learning facility if you have any issue and campus I told you it is a green campus so when you come outside from your class you feel good, College comes with a huge ground also so this was all about good aspects.
Dislikes
- Outer infra is so good there is no issue with it but the classes are not having proper ventilation, in summers you feel so much suffocation so this is the bad side and they only having one cooler in the class so it would be so difficult for you to sit in the class in the summers.
- As I told you earlier faculty is good but some of them are not properly trained, as I noticed that some of them just come and read the lines and end their lesson and sometimes they just translate and done from their side so these were the bad aspects.
Remarks :
Oky so I choose this college because my elder sister studied here and graduated in 2021, so she suggest me to take this college, according to her college was good, staff is good but now there is huge gap she graduated in 2021 and I enrolled in 2024 so there is difference of 3 years in which many things were changed like teachers, staff and management is not so good, one suggestion for you all if you are going to take admission after seeing outside infrastructure, buildings and admission cell so please check the classes because issue of ventilation in summer you will feel suffocated so please mind these thing before taking admission and one thing about admission cell there is no entrance test they will tell you that admissions are going to close seats are only 120 but in reality there are 240 seats in BBA so do not come with pressure they take admission till September so think twicely before taking admission, behaviour of admission cell members will be changed after submitting fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to enhance by business communication and business analysis skills and want to make my career in management so I choose this course, but here the faculty some of then are fired from other institute and get hired in this college and some of them are PHD so there are both types of teachers and staff, now I come to teaching method some of them just translate and move on and some of then would read, and some teachers use laptop and projectors so this was about teaching method. Well after 2 to 3 months exams mid exams are taken and not so much difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
I had done internship from my end, I had done two internships one of HR in VS Kart which I found it on Linkedin and second one of also HR which I also found on linkedin in Hindustan Recruitment Limited and I also cleared the interview of Startek and Niftel and many other companies in my first year of college.
Placement Experience :
Placement rate is good which is about to 70 to 80 percent and I believe that having skills along with degree are also more valuable than a normal degree so also do courses along with college studies that will increase your placement opportunities and many students were got their placement after completing their course and internships are also provided by the college, and college is also providing BBA retail course which means you have to study 1.5 years from college and then college will give you internship which is from government so it's a better option for you, so I can say placement rate is good in this college and rest of the things depends upon you. And the highest package offered in BBA is 6 LPA to 8 LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees of BBA in GIHSM is 66000 but they give a discount to all students and then the fees would be 55000 (incl form charge) for 1st year and after that fees would be 54000, and you can pay quarterly, monthly or yearly depends in you and yes they also allowed EMI plan that auto debits from your bank acc so it's depend on you, now I come to discount and all so the admission cell would tell you the discount we are giving to you on the basis of your 12th percentage (if you score above 60 percent your fees will be 55000) so it's a whole lie to you because I got 76.8% in commerce field with state board and my fees is 55000 and my batchmates also get same discount but they achieved 54% some of them were get 60 so it's a whole lie to you, I am not sure about scholarship but there is a little bit change not about a huge change like fees would be 50000 (as per my knowledge), Thanks
Campus Life :
First thing there is no fresher at all from last 2 years in this college and in October 2024 there is a dandiya night and recently in February 2025 there is a fest. There are two library in our department and books are leasily available but classes are not having proper ventilation. In summer you will feel exhausted and there is one college in a large class room so amenities are not, water cooler are also so much dirty, toilets are also not properly cleaned. No extracurricular activities in the campus, it will only happen when there is a fest like last time there is a esport event, cricket and volleyball. As per my knowledge there were no social groups.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
