- The exposure they give and the connections they have cuz all of them are from NLUs and tier 1 law schools.
- The college has highly competitive enviornment which brings the best out of you the actually prepare you in every way to face the corporate life.
Dislikes
- The campus is really small in Noida although the new building is under construction but right now we are sharing the same campus with SCMS and the committee who schedule things in the college needs to be changed its that bad.
- There is hardly any college fun. Which we were expecting before coming here the course is really hectic.
Remarks :
Since I couldn't get a NLU upto tier 2 I resorted to Symbiosis because of its brand value and great placements. To get into it You have to give SLAT exam a score above 38 is considered safe to get into symbiosis but to get into pune you have to score well above 40 and then there will be the interview of all the four colleges pune, noida , nagpur, hyderabad. Your scores in exam and interview combined will decide your seat. Their is a hierarchy topmost being BAL.L.B in SLS pune then bba llb in Pune then Ba llb in Noida then bba llb in Noida and below it are hyderabad and nagpur respectively. To prepare for these rounds there are coaches who have group which will help with mock interviews, c.v and certificates of co curricular.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In my college the faculty is top-notch all of them have done either there masters or bachelors from tier 2 NLUs . The exposure to practical world is great fl. College life is hectic though because of continuous tests and assignments. The only flaw is the events as my college hostel very of them the biggest one being symfiesta fest.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provide really good opportunities in internship atleast upto 3rd year but after that it is recommended to get internships which suit your goals so you have to get it by yourself through alumnis or linkedin. But the alumni base here is really great. No you don't get stipend until 5 th year generally.
Placement Experience :
The placement are only for the students who possess a great C.V. with loads of meaningful work experience and the ones with high cgpa( atleast 8). Last year students were recruited by E and Y, Trilegal , Khaitan and Co. Etc And good number of big law chambers. Highest package last year was of 25 lakhs. And average was around 8.5 lakhs. So the students are divided into 3 categories a, b, c. Everyone in A got placements in good firms they are the high achievers. All in B got placements some in good boutique ones and some in just average firms. The category c was the one who couldn't grab the placement s. They either don't have good C.V. or good marks. My plans are to do masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fees is paid semester wise which is exactly 2 lakhs. In my course I have total 10 semester and the total cost of this degree is 20 lakhs. You are required to pay the 1st installment only after you get selected in the list through SLAT and enroll yourself in the course . As for the scholarship they provide it each sem according to your cgpa the top 3 scorers in the batch gets 40,000 of scholarship.
Campus Life :
Campus is not so big as the new building is still under construction so we share it with SCMS noida right now. The library is grand with literally all the relevant books present here. Their are contingents for sports and extra curricular activities. The photography club MOCASO is the finest contingent. There are NGO's you can join which students run themselves legal aid and pro bono are the most active societies here, Symfiesta happens here in March which is a marvelous fest and then there is aparajit for sports tournaments. Sports are taken really serious in this college teams often go out to play inter college.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is only available for girls that too only for 1st year students, the facilities there are amazing but the fees is pretty high its around thirty thousand per month for triple sharing room. You have to apply as soon as you get the admission.

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
