Remarks :
In CUET-PG rank of Baba Sahab Ambedkar University is 3-4th and also it offers wide variety of courses like: Zoology, MBA, Agriculture, LLB/LLM, Commerce, Maths, Dance, Yoga, Public Administration, Library Science etc. Also fees is not that high with good faculties, and campus life. So I opted this college. Coming to Group Discussion, Interviews and all its only for MBA and Rural Management course. Rest everyone has to give CUET-PG/UG exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Msc in Human Development and Family Studies has wide variety of opportunities. I opted this course because I wanted to be a Psychologist. That's why here I am. All Facilities are well qualified with min. qualification of Phd , NET qualified. Technical fields like Engineering has IITians and NITians as there Professors. Some Law faculties retired Judges of High Court, Ex-Lawyers (Practising) so students have good exposure of Practical World. Exams are always of Time. Each Semester has 3 exam i.e. 2 Mid Term of 10 - 10 marks and 1 End Term of 50 Marks. 20 Marks is for Practical, Assignment, Viva-voca and all. Difficulty of Exam is Moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
My field is Agriculture Allied so we had our internship at NGOs, Diary factories, Food factories. Min internship is of 1 month and max 3 months in technical fields like Geology. One will get ample amount of Internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
Placement and Internship is good here. Highest placement is of Engineering Department with highest package of 10 Lakh per annum and average is 4 lakh per annum. MBA has also good placement with 88% record placement in 2024.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total tution fees of my subject is around 28000 approx for General and OBC Category students. Individuals of SC/ST category will have to pay 4000 less (i.e. 1000/Semester less) so it would be around 24000 for them. At the time of admission there are so many fees that a new student has to pay like caution fees-2000, Lab fees- 400, Examination fees- 1100 (it is included in Semester fees that I have mentioned above) and some extra fees that would be around 2500. So at the time of admission one has to pay 7000-8000 extra in which 2000 (Refundable) at degree completion will be given bank. If one cancels his/her admission during 60 days of Admission that individual will get 60%-90% of Admission fees will be returned. If one stays in Hostel the fees is around 2600/Semester (Gen, OBC) & 1600/Semester (SC, ST) students. Late fees submission brings a fine of Rs 50/week. So it's a central university so fees is and will never be a issue for you irrespective of department
Campus Life :
There are 2 fest in Baba Sahab Ambedkar University they are: Udaan (Sports fest) & Tarang (Cultural Fest). Apart from this few special days like Ambedkar Jayanti and Samvidhan Diwas is also celebrated as Fest here. Central Library of this university is The Heart of this University. It has a seating capacity of more than 600 people with Fully A/C. Books, Journal Research, Papers, Competitive Books all are available and is timely updated. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Alumni Group is the only social group of this university. Campus life is good with 400 acres of campus in the heart of Lucknow. It has 3 sports ground, 1 Indoor Stadium and Gym is also available.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for Hostel. There are 4 Boys Hostel and 3 Girls Hostel in the Campus. Mess is also good with Veg Food all around. Mess fees is 3000/Month. Hostel is alloted by the university itself based on merit and distance.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
