- I like the lab areas as that's the only things that's developed.
- Library has a variety of books and nice sitting area
Dislikes
- Library has No AC and only academic books
- Washrooms are Horrible. Never cleaned properly.
Remarks :
I chose SRM due to its easy admission via SRMJEEE, availability of CSE , and location. No GD/PI .Process was smooth. College lacks good faculty and has poor infrastructure though. I didn't have to prepare for any specific exam. JEE preparation was enough.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose CSE due to my interest in coding, but the curriculum included many unrelated subjects like chemistry, biology and constitution etc. Faculty quality i average,, mostly theory based teaching. Exams are frequent, often tiring. Real learning comes from self study not classroom lectures.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are available but most students arrange them independently. companies like Intenrshala, TCS iON, and some startups collaborate for virtual internships. Roles usually offered are in web development, data analysis and app development with stipends ranging from 3,000 to 10,000
Placement Experience :
Placement are average, with some recruiters visiting campus. eligibility criteria include a minimum cgpa of 6.5. top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. The highest package is around 10LPA, with an average package of 4-5 LPA. Placement percentage is about 60%. For those without placements, many opt for internships or pursue higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the general quota, the tuition fees is around 2.5-2.8 lakhs per year, and it gradually increases every year. I paid 2.95 lakhs which included 2.5 lakhs tuition fee, 10,000 caution deposit that is refundable, 10,000 registration+ admission charges which is non refundable, 25,000 lab and development fees. My batchmates under management quota or with lower SRMJEE ranks are paying 3-4 lakhs per year
Campus Life :
Campus is really small with no activity to engage in. social life at campus is basically non existing. the students run various clubs. the library is nice but has no AC so students can't use2 it during the summers. Maintenance in gym and other faculties like football ground, basketball court are needed. They only hold one fest ALTERNATIVELY.
Hostel Facilities :
I'm a day scholar so haven't opted for hostel but the hostlers have reported that mess food is terrible and have found insects in their food. The food is bland. Strict policy even for going out for 10 minutes.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
