Likes
- The campus is filled with plants and greenery which gives you an open space and lively environment.
- The faculty is friendly and supportive. You can approach the coordinator regarding any issues that you may face.
Dislikes
- Majority of the people are not too liberal. You can not expect them to be very friendly, cooperative and social.
- The weather is too hot in summer and bathrooms should be cleaned and maintained properly.
Remarks :
I chose this particular institute because of the Textile branch offered here. I opted for that mainly because of my interest in textiles with further scope of fashion designing and the location of the Institute. Due to immense competition in other branches, I preferred it as a less congested work field. There is no such intricate entry requirements. You should have given JEE mains after you 12th and then get enrolled in AKTU counselling. In order to take admission, you must visit the college on the Physical reporting date assigned by NTA. For local students, you can take admission from admission cell directly in your preferred branch. You can also take admission in Lateral entry through CUET.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Textile is one of the flourishing industries that has fairly good scope in future. As a textile student myself, I can say you get more exposure and practical knowledge as compared to CSE AND CSE AIML. The faculty here is good, experienced and qualified from established institutes. Most professors are PhD holders and supportive if you are eager to learn. The teaching style varies from professor to professor, they use PPTs, whiteboard and encourage interactive environment. The faculty is friendly and easy-going, you can approach them anytime you need help. There are 3 exams held per semester which included two sessionals and the final examination.
Internships Opportunities :
There are internship opportunities in the college for Textile students starting from their third year. I'm in my first year, so I don't have much idea about that now. From the second and third year, you start getting internships and sent to places.
Placement Experience :
For textile branch, the placement is good while for other branches it is not as good as the big tech companies are not present. There is in-campus placement for textile students and the highest package was 12 lakh per annum offered by Trident. CSE AND CSE AIML students often seek off-campus placements. If you're really goal oriented and have brilliant skills, then you can get the average placement of 6 to 8 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tuition fees for B.Tech in any branch is Rs. 81,500 per year. Other than that you are required to pay the seat locking fee during AKTU counselling which is later summed up in your tuition fees. Exam fee of around Rs. 7,500 is exclusively paid before university exam once in a year. The tuition fees is same for all categories. Also, since it is a government aided institute, you can receive UP government scholarships and financial aid based on your merit.
Campus Life :
My overall campus life is good. There isn't very huge crowd but you can certainly make friends and make your college life memorable. The prime events celebrated are Freshers party, Sports fest and Farewell. But, the college is conducting more activities and events by and by. Recently, a fusion fest was organised by the first year by CORESYNC, which is a newly established club for events. The overall campus infrastructure is fine, not as good as other NCR colleges. The campus is spread over 45+ acres of undeveloped land. The environment is pleasing and good because of greenery and open space. Inside the building, there is a huge library with all the academic books, two seminar halls, labs and all the textile labs. There are a few websites created by students themselves, one of them is NITRA MITRA.
Hostel Facilities :
If you want to avail hostel facilities, then you can get triple occupancy for girls and boys on first come first serve basis. The rooms are limited so you should consider coming without delay. Boys and girls hostel are separate and a common fully vegetarian mess. The mess food is moderately good. The rooms are fine in which you get a bed, a table, a bookshelf and an almirah.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
