Factors that made me choose this college include: -Reputation: It is renowned for its academic excellence and faculty expertise in the field of computer science and information technology. -Placements: The college has a strong record of placements and industry tie-ups and results in 99% placements every year -good aspects are strong faculty, industry connections, and modern infrastructure. -bad aspects include high fees and delayed administrative processes. -Admission is done based on JEE score and class 12th percentage. -Cut-off is based on JEE/12th performance. -No GD/PI is conducted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
-I chose this course because of its comprehensive curriculum and emphasis on practical learning. -Highly qualified teachers from reputed institutions across India and their engaging teaching methods which include practical approaches. -3 term exams are being conducted comprising 75 marks total per subject and the rest 25 of teacher's assessment. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and focuses more on conceptual learning. -There is a slight fee hike every semester and the cost of study increases if hostel accommodation is also opted for. -Financial assistance is given based on the annual salary of parents and scholarships are given based on merit.
Internships Opportunities :
-Many companies offered internships with stipends ranging from 20000 to 40000+. -Projects and tasks included developing AI algorithms, data analysis, software testing, website development, application programming, database management, and many more.
Placement Experience :
-Eligibility for placements includes a CGPA criteria and at least 1 internship completion depending on the company's requirement. -Recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Adobe, TCS, and more top & mass recruiters that gave various offers. The highest package offered was 1 crore and the average packages offered range between 9-11 lacs. -99% of students get placed every year highlighting the college's strong placement record. -After getting the degree I would like to gain some work experience and opt for higher studies to upskill myself.
Campus Life :
-There are two main fests namely Impressions and Converge held at Sector 62 and Sector 128 campuses respectively in February and March. -There is a learning resource center with all the books and journals required and also an online portal where students can access more books available globally. -Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and white screens. -Sports facilities include a multi-purpose hall and outdoor activities having a football field, cricket nets, and basketball, and volleyball courts on both campuses. -There are many clubs for student interactions catering to different interests and hobbies. The food quality at JIIT is better than most of the colleges in India and has a diverse menu offering food from all over India. Applications are provided to students desirous of taking hostels and registration is done at the beginning of the academic year. Hostel charges are 1 lac per semester and offer double sharing only. Students have many PG options near the college.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
