Remarks :
I am very much interested in research field. That's why i choosed this course. Actually i wanted to get admission in IISER but due to some error I made in my document uploadation my seat got cancelled. Then I found the same course in IISER at NIT AGARTALA and i applied for this course with my JEE score and I got it.I got admission through CSAB councelling during August.While comparing my college with IISER and NISER the resources for a research student is less because this is a Technical institute. This is a campus having 365 acre area and full of greenary .I used some websites for searching about this institute. The sites like Zollege will help you to compare and know about the colleges you want.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As this is a National institute,most of the faculties in here are above average and obviously some are below average. Most of the faculties are Phd holders and experienced.Teaching methods are good. There will be two main exams , a mid term and an end term during a semester and two class tests with quizz. Difficulty of the exams are moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
As a first year student , i didn't applied for any internships and projects till now. So many seniors in my branch are doing their internships and projects in companies. Internships can be with or without stipends( depends on the companies)
Placement Experience :
In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For this course it will costs around 3.5 to 4.5 lacs for 5 years including Tution fee, hostel fee and other fees. Schoolarships are available for students who are eligible through National Schoolarship portal. Students can take financial assistance from banks of they want.
Campus Life :
There are so many tech and cultural fests here.Moksha is the biggest cultural fest in here happens every year.In this year it's going to happen on February. There is a huge library having a capacity of more than 60k books ( including e books).There is good sports facility here. Campus have a big sports complex having courts like football, basketball, badminton etc.Therevare so many clubs in campus including NLC, We can, Dezire, Malhar etc.
Hostel Facilities :
This campus have mainly three hostels, two boys and one girls. Hostel facilities are good and affordable. In the first two year we will get double sharing room and after that we get single rooms. Mess food is adjustable. In first year we have only one mess and after that we have choice like North, south and north east. For students like me coming from south, it will take some time adjust to the food. Overall hostel and mess facilities are good.
Interview Experience :
Students can get admission here mostly through JEE exam ( some new exams like NCET are also there for some courses) . There are two councellings through JEE , JOSAA and CSAB. Students can sit for the councelling after securing a good score in JEE. The councellings happen through online mode in NTA site.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.
Placement Experience :
Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now
