Remarks :
This is a government medical College and was affiliated with KGMU. This was the only Autonomous college which have PG seats. That's why I chose this college. And moreover, the connectivity of my city from college is really great .
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I'm pursuing MBBS here in this college so I can only give details about MBBS course and college campus. The facilities of our college are highly cooperative and supportive. They try their best to make you understand the topics. Especially the ENT department and Anatomy department of our college are best in state. All the faculties are highly educated and qualified.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet because right now I'm in final prof and the internship starts after the university exam of Final Prof. But after completing the final prof, I will be doing internship with our hospital.
Placement Experience :
There is a mandatory intership after the 4.5 year course. For internship, we have dedicated hospital name Opec Kailey. It is a multi-speciality hospital with highly qualified doctors. The opd is of almost 1000 patients daily.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For General category, annual fee is 28800 and for reservation category it is 18800. But there is separate examination fee which is 14500 for all the categories. But, state government also provides scholarship to all the eligible students.
Campus Life :
Our college campus have Basketball court, Volleyball court, Badminton court and sports room for indoor games. The social life of our college is highly appreciable because it is ragging free and all the students whether they are seniors or juniors, play together. The atmosphere our college is very positive.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels and other buildings are newly made. Infrastructure of our college and hostel is really great. We have two separate hostels for students, one is for fresh batch and other hostel is for the students of 2nd year onwards batch. Hostels are highly affordable at a price of 4800? per year. Including electricity and other charges.
Interview Experience :
To take admission in this college, a student have to give NEET exam which is conducted every year. You require almost 610-630 marks (General Category and OBC category) , 500+ ( SC and ST category)in the NEET exam.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
