- The best thing I like about the college is it's diversity and the unity in the students. College life is life changing so choose you're company wisely.
- Apart from it the seniors are very friendly and supportive. The faculty is also very helpful. You can easily reach out to them.
Dislikes
- The campus is too small according to the no. of students it accomodate.
- The sports culture is not so good. Talented students are there but platforms to show up there talent isn't enough.
Remarks :
The college has diversity in it. Cultural and amusement activities take place frequently. Recently our institute received a NAAC A+ accreditation. The one thing that the college lacks behind is its campus size. Talking about the admission process, there are two ways to get admitted. One is through the UPCET Counseling and the other one is direct admission. I would prefer opting for admission through counseling since it makes it easier to get scholarships. The UPCET cutoff (through JEE) goes around 4-5 lakh. For direct admission try contacting the institute in advance because the seats get filled up soon. For getting a CSE branch preference is given to students having 80% and in the 12th exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in computer and coding in high school so I had made up my mind to I would opt for B.Tech CSE in the future and here am I. The faculty is also good and supportive. There are some professors in every college whose teaching way is disliked or not understood but that cannot be taken as a demerit as we know that every sack of wheat has that insect in it. Mostly the faculty has done their masters and most of them have even done PhD in their field of expertise. It follows the pattern of semester exams. But there is a difference in the duration of both. The odd sem is longer than the even sem. So you have to face a rush in the curriculum completion in the evening sem. The college conducts two sessional exams and one Pre-University exam in each sem. The thing that I dislike is that the correction of the final AKTU exam is unpredictable. Hope to get at least 10 minus marks out of which you're expected to get. The fees also vary according to the year of admission.
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the students do an internship on their own. The college does conduct job fairs but the seats are limited. Small startups and companies offer internships. Most of them are for the CS students. The no. of core companies visiting is very limited. I haven't done any internships right now but I have heard from my seniors that very few offer stipends of about 4-5K. Most of them are non-paid.
Placement Experience :
The placement scenario is average. Companies like tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, lenskart, bikaner wala,etc do comes in the campus. The number of students getting placed is about 60 -70. You first have to go through the aptitude round then the coding rounds and then a personal interview. The average package offered is 3.5 to 5 lakhs. This year one of our seniors even backed a package of 27 lakhs from Microsoft. Internship drives also occur in the college but opportunities are limited. So try doing your side hustle as well to get to a good position. I have planned to gain one year of experience in the IT field and then pursue an MBA to polish up my career.
Campus Life :
The college conducts a fresher's party each year in which they invite a celebrity. Apart from this, many intra-school activities keep on occurring. In the first year, the most appealing events are the Swaranjali, Filmography, Engineers Day celebration, and a few others. The college has a central library which has a large collection of books and journals. Each classroom has a whiteboard and a projector. There are many clubs in the college- culture, sports, tech, ethics, photography are the most prominent ones. We also have an annual sports day named "Spardha" in which students fight against other departments. The college has an on-campus hostel (Shri Ram Hostel). I currently live in the hostel. According to me, the hostel fees are too high compared to the facilities it provides. The mess menu is also not so good. Laundry and room cleaning services are there. You can opt for living outside the campus in areas like Pari Chowk and Alpha. Overall safety is there in the hostel.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
