- I like the degree that's all I mean I came up with no good expectations from this college and for a micro second they got me excited when they introduced me to the student societies however the hype died down and it all boiled down to the precious degree I came here for! The campus life is okay I guess , there are jamming sessions in the afternoon sometimes and then there's sports and yoga conducted so I mean yeah the campus life is pretty decent huh
- Infrastructure could use a lot of renovation.There are no ACs and for all i care even the fans are non existent with the speed they be working at i might have to row them by myself, right now some construction be going on in my department so it's all noisy and dirty but I hope it gets better soon so yeah
Dislikes
- I strongly dislike the crowd y'all . Majority of the students come from Up and can't even speak basic English. It's suffocating at times but I guess you just have to learn to deal with it
- The faculties for 1st year are rude and baselessly strict they need to be fired asap
Remarks :
Well firstly, a little background I'm from gurgaon,Haryana and i did my schooling from Dps gurgaon all the way from nursery to senior high school.While deciding what to do further I wasted a lot of time and had no real knowledge of counseling infact I did not know of Jss beforehand.I had never heard it's name and was clueless about anything to do with it.My father decided to put me into this college because it was apparently very renounced and known in UP. I was admitted through their Jee mains counseling online and grabbed IT in the 3rd round of counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My branch is IT(information Technology) and so far I like it.I had started out as a fan of fancy websites and animations and wanted to pursue a career in the same. Coming to Jss Noida was not in the plan but I can say it did not pull me down or crushed my dreams either. When I first came to Jss I had very little expectations from the coding communities ,however when I started exploring I saw the underlying potential amongst so many talented people.I can say for sure Jss has a pretty strong coding environment! The faculties will help you and guide you by being your mentor if and only if you are serious about it. Jss has a number of brilliant teachers who look out for the students in the best way possible. Apart from the very strict attendance criteria i would say everything is alright.
Internships Opportunities :
I did do an internship with Bharat Intern ,it was unpaid and online , I opted for web development and had to complete like 3 projects to get a certificate it was dope but don't get it confused for an opportunity provided by my college cause no I did it by myself
Placement Experience :
I am a 2nd year student so i haven't properly delved into the placement zone however from what I have heard and seen is that Jss fails to provide any Internship in 3rd year and we are on our own,the placement cell is weak and lazy they do not care about the certainty of a student getting an opportunity, all they do is provide information about vacancies. The ECE department is the most active in providing internships and job opportunities to its students. As per the norms and aggregate of 75% is required to sit for campus placements and the highest package up until last year was 55lpa (Amazon) and that too off campus.On campus placement infrastructure is not provided and kept a secret so cannot speak much on that..
Campus Life :
Campus is pretty small measuring about 30 acres or so but it has almost everything that a student requires i.e a confectionery, medical assistance, printer etc.We also have a very beautiful Ganesh temple in our campus near the boys hostel .Since I reside in the girls hostel I can say that the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds can be better and the chairs could use a replacement.There are a total of 7 floors connected via 2 working lifts and a mess that serves food 4 times a day.Speaking of extracurricular activities,we have our very own basketball team,kabaddi team, batminton team and so on.Not only sports but also many more fun activities are carried out in student unions like illuminati which conducts nukkad nataks and Impetus which hosts MUNs.There are dance and singing clubs like Verve and Diversity stage!Literature clubs like Lingua franca and Origo are eye catchers , Lingua franca(lf) conducts the annual Youth parliament every year and witnesses active participation!

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
