- The amazing patient flow here because of the only source of hospital to the neighbouring villages like mandhana, chaubeypur,etc.
- There is 24*7 access to the college library
Dislikes
- It is a little far from the main city like 8km
- Living in the hostel is compulsory you have to pay the hostel fee here weather you live in the hostel or not
Remarks :
Rama Medical College, Kanpur was established in 2008 and since then it has produced good results in terms of mbbs. I choose this college because of its higher ranking and great academic facilities here. In spite of being a private medical college in UP, it has great patient flow. I have seen lots of patients coming to the hospital. Talking about the admission process it’s quite simple and easy. You have to simply first participate in the NEET UG counseling procedure conducted by NTA and then you get selected then simply report to the college. The admissions process is quite simple you don’t have to take any extra tests or interviews for the same. The marks you should score to expect your selection here in the college should be around 370-480.
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBBS is a difficult course that demands your focus, dedication, and hard work but is still a noble profession. I choose the course for the same. The faculty here at Rama Medical College, Kanpur are incredibly good. They are usually either from gsvm or kgmc. The professors are themselves MBBS MDs with at least 10 years of experience. The college is very concerned about the academic part and is very punctual with it. You need to study hard to keep yourself stable here. 3 internal assessments take place every 3 months and then comes the final professional exams. You need to pass the internal assessments as eligibility criteria for appearing in the main exams. Being a private medical college it’s obviously a little costly but the academics provided here are worth it.
Placement Experience :
MBBS is a 5.5-year course in which 4.5 years are your academic years and 1 year for internship. The placement in MBBS depends upon the student’s hard work in these 5.5 years. But because of the strict academic life here, the students usually get good placements and many students have cleared the NEET PG entrance exam.
Campus Life :
The campus life here is amazing. You are going to experience a lot of things here. There are various clubs assigned for various activities like the poetry club, quiz clubs, cultural clubs, and many more. There are many ongoing programs like Synapse, iris, jalsa, etc. The sports club is very attractive here where many sports activities take place like a football ground for football and separate cricket ground for cricket,basketball ground, badminton courts and whatnot. Timely many fests are being organized like the cultural fests, sports fests, DJ nights, etc. Talking about the hostel, you have a double occupancy room with a balcony. These rooms have centralized AC and there are no electricity charges, this is the best part about the hostel for not charging any electricity bill. The mess food is surprisingly good. You get a lot of variety in the food menu and every night you get dessert. Also, the hostel life is completely ragging and there are many anti-ragging squads for the same

our course is not for placement , you will get job in many library as per your degree , if you want grad a jobs you have complete PHD in library science . there is no campuss placement in this college for this course . most of student do mlis and UGN net after blis and some of them prepare for government like JNV and asst librarioan posts

And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.
