- The University provides a very insightful syllabus for the students to study within their 5 years of studying which helps us in gaining a good amount of knowledge in our College Life. This helps the students in their future ahead.
- The teaching level of some of the faculty professors has been on top as they are able to explain difficult terms, concepts to the students without any problem and the students also do understand the topics. With guest speakers and lecturers also giving speeches taking classes on honours subjects, the level of teaching has been great.
Dislikes
- The placement quality has been quite depressing as there is very less to cheer upon and feel motivated. Each year the university promises for better placements but still this is an area which they do need to look upon and fix in order for the students to feel fresh and motivated.
- The level of teaching has been near perfect but there are some of the professors who have really downgraded the level of teaching as they apply very minimal efforts in providing any good amount of teaching to the students with even taking out personal grudges with those standing out to them. Their quality is not bad but because of the differences with the students, they give up on the rest of the students also.
Remarks :
The university doesn't usually have an exam for admission. The admission criteria are 55% in the 12th Examination from a competitive board. I enrolled in this university as I wanted to do the course at a university not far away from my home.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wished to pursue Law and decided to go with Galgotias University School of Law. The qualification level of the faculty has been really good and the teaching methodologies of some of the faculty teachers have been exceptional while some of the faculty do take differences from the students and do not try their best to teach the students. Exams are held at regular intervals which makes the students frustrated all the time as that's the worst thing about the university, while the difficulty level has been pretty moderate as someone with descent studying methods could score well. The fee hike has been there as the university is expanding its infrastructure and the School of Law has been quite successful in achieving greater success that's why the fees is now 1,25,000. There are various scholarships available for the students to avail, but as I've not enrolled in any, I don't know much about them.
Internships Opportunities :
I've opted for internships but I've searched for them by myself as the university is very less concerned about providing opportunities to the students by helping them find better internships, while the faculty have been very helpful in this matter and have helped many students numerous times.
Placement Experience :
There have been very few placements done with most of the placements being very less salary giving. The highest package which I've heard about is 6 LPA but that too is only for one student of that year and others do not even get placements. The placements are one area which the School of Law needs to improve upon as the students feel motivated to perform when they have a hope to get placements. My plan after my degree is to either plan a foreign master's or start my advocacy.
Campus Life :
Life at the Galgotias Campus has been pretty good with various fests and events happening every other month or at festivals. A student has every chance to improve his/her social life on the campus by interacting with other students. Each year Farewells, Freshers is conducted with various other fests where Bollywood celebs, guest lecturers, or speakers perform in their specialized fields. Sports & extracurricular activities are conducted with more focus given to the Initial Year students. There are various clubs, social groups, and events created for the students to join which would eventually help them in getting the confidence they need to do better things in life. I've not opted for the hostel but my friends have reviewed the hostel as being a decent one with good rooms and average food quality. The affordability of the hostel is above average.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
