My College Summary
Remarks :
My friends and relatives told me about the college and since I wanted to do my graduation in U.P I chose to be a part of A.K.TU. As for this college (IIMT College of Engineering), I gave a UPSEEE exam that is a government exam for getting into a college in Uttar Pradesh. Then I went for counseling and was shortlisted for college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since I am very much interested in technology and science computer science provided me with every reason to go for it. The eligibility criteria for getting a Bachelor's in computer science and engineering is to have a minimum of 60% in respective class 12th Boards exams with PCM as the main subject. Faculties in my college are well educated with P.hd and M.TECH in their respective fields. Their way of teaching is more realistic and practical. Sometimes it becomes boring as the theory part is based on the A.K.T.U curriculum. Terms exams are divided into two categories one is Pre pre-university exams and the other is University exams. Pre-university exams are conducted by the college itself to make students prepare themselves for the university/semester exams. The level of exams is easy to moderate one can easily score good marks by understanding basic concepts. The fee is increased every 3-4 years. The cost of the study is a little less than another college in the Delhi NCR region.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are not provided by the college we have to find them on our own. I did an internship for 6 months for the role of full-stack developer. I developed a blogging website using the backend framework: Django. It was an unpaid internship. I got only an experience letter.
Placement Experience :
The Eligibility criteria for placements is 60% overall with no active backlogs. Placement is not good and no reputed company comes to visit the campus. Only one time TCS, and wipro come but that was 10 years before. Mostly startups and sales companies come for the placements. The Average package is 3lpa and the highesf package is 4-5lpa. Only 10% of students get a placement in the core field but by their effort and through off-campus drive. Mostly sales and market profiles are offered.
Campus Life :
Fest is organized in every 3 months although they are not worth it. Only limited books are available in the library and most of them are based on curriculum only. The classroom has fans and proper ventilation is there but there is no AC. Sports are held once in 6 months. Sports are played: kabaddi, basketball, badminton. There are no social groups clubs or websites that are run by the students. Hostel rooms are average. They have attached bathrooms and a balcony. Mess food quality is good they provide 3 times meals and evening snacks. The hostel fee is affordable if we compare it to other hostels in Delhi NCR.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
My Experience at Galgotias University
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
