- Infrastructure is pretty good , seperate hostels for boys , girls, senior doctors. Faculty is extremely supportive in nature .
- Campus Life is amazing. You will be having your best life here especially with your friends . Unforgettable trips with friends. Fest time is also amazing
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is good but it can expand. I think there should be a gym in the campus.
- I think one of the major complaint of students is the time limit of entry or exit in the college. Timings should be changed .
Remarks :
I got into this college through the counsel process after the NEET exam. For admission to medical College, you have to write a national exam called NEET which is the National E cum entrance test. In my time the cut-off for the general category was around 11-14k in terms of rank. I got a 12546 all India rank. I prepared for the exam through a renowned institute called Aakash In known for its medical Entrance tests. The admission process consists of counselling, document verification and then admission at the designated college allotted to you according to your rank and preferences.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a dream of becoming a doctor since my early childhood. Talkin' about the faculty of our college, all are highly educated and experienced doctors. They tried to teach you in a simpler way than books, providing exceptional knowledge to us. Term exams are also held at regular intervals consisting of 2-3 internal assessments, cent ups and the final exams. The level of exams can be said to be moderate to difficult. Scholarships are also given for economically weakened students that comprise total academic fees.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided after the final year which is 1.5 years in duration wise. Posting in different departments working under senior doctors and assisting them in clinical wards. For that you will be given around 15000 rupees as a stipend per month
Placement Experience :
There is an internship period of about 1-1.5 years which is rotatory. You have to be posted in different departments for different periods of time in turn you will get a good amount of stipend. After the internship, a 2-year bond service is also there, according to which You will be paid around 80000-100000 per month for around 2 years. Social life is pretty good here. We have organised our fest named SPANDAN, from September to October. A great moment of the year. Classrooms are also fitted with AC and wifi services. The library is also provided to us with proper sitting capacity and AC and all. Books are available on all subjects you need to study. Sports and extracurricular activities are also held at proper intervals of time. Separate grounds for cricket, football and volleyball. A separate badminton court is also provided. The hostel is there for residence. A double sharing room is given to us. The food quality of the mess is pretty good here and the price is also affordable.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
