The factors that made me choose this college were that it focuses on women's education, its history and legacy, emphasis on women's empowerment, specialised programmes, community and networking, placement programme and unique culture. Isabella Thoburn College is a very renowned college in Lucknow so I didn't take a minute to take admission but it was all wrong. A few of the teachers are very irritating, they just read the topics in the class, and don't explain much. There is a lot of communication gap between a student and the teacher unless you are their favourite. Very limited companies come for the placement and you will hardly get to know when did they come. The whole college is run by a student group called SGA, and they are super rude. One thing I liked was only the societies like dance, music, photography, Nukkad natak, singing, etc. This is the only thing where the college excels.
I chose BA in Economics, English and Psychology but dropped English in 2nd year as I was in hand preparing for civil services. The faculty is very well qualified, they all have done phd but few of them teach just horribly. They just read in the class, with no explanation, and no communication with the students. But there also stand some very good teachers like the faculty of English, they are super sweet, good, polite and teach very well. Twice a year exams were conducted and the difficulty level is easy to moderate. A fee hike is a real thing if you are especially a Self-finance student ( SFS ). The fee for regular students is just half of what is for SFS students. They will During the 1st day of the counselling session will tell you that seats are over in regular and so if you want to take a subject you have to opt for the SFS course, where fees are just double. Government scholarships are there.
Very few companies visit the college and you will hardly know that they visited. Mostly the selection is done via online mode. So no company visit the college, everything is done online. I am preparing for civil services and after the degree, I have opted for a master's course in Economics.
The college is really good when it comes to extracurricular activities, fests, etc. There is one main fest named, AURA. It is generally conducted in January. Books on mostly all topics and subjects, and writers are available in the library. Many dance, singing, nukkad natak, etc activities are conducted, including debates, fashion shows etc. There is SGA, Student govt. organization, run by the students and everything in the college is organized by them. The food quality of the hostel is very good.
They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
There are regular placement drives that are conducted on a monthly basis. We have regular updates for campus placement drives that are shared with us and we can participate in them to choose the best options for ourselves.

B.Tech computer Science engineering is very tech driven field which , by the assistance of new tech driven laboratories, latest generation technology focused curriculum, is very remarkable field to study and progress in.
Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
