The University of Melbourne's acceptance rate is around 70%. However, the estimated accommodation cost starts from AUD 404, the meal plan facility is available for International House and Medley Hall only. Other common amenities you will get are

University of Melbourne Residential Halls

The University of Melbourne College accommodation offers 10 residential colleges for international students who are willing to witness on-campus living opportunities. These are

Out of these, the International House and Medley Hall, are owned by the University and remaining are the affiliated halls. It is to be noted that, you need to pay AUD 400 (for a year) and AUD 250 (for a semester) as Medley Hall student club fees. The meal plan is only added to the residential halls that you can not find in any other accommodation. Thus, the University of Melbourne accommodation fees become a bit higher when it includes a meal plan.
