Eligibility

  • Any candidate who has passed XII or equivalent exam is eligible to apply for admission at Budge Budge College.
  • The admission is as per the cutoff lists (as per XII merit) released by University of Calcutta.

Budge Budge College, Kolkata: Scholarships

The Institute in collaboration with the Central Government, provides scholarships to minority and low income students of the college.

The Central government provides scholarships to the students who have scored more than 50% in the examinations, while the state government provides a stipend to minority students scoring below 50%. This scheme has been availed by the students since 2014.

Students can also apply for various state and National level Scholarships for the reserved/ minority and EWS category.

  • Classrooms: There are 18 classrooms in the college. The classrooms are student friendly and well- equipped.They are made to aid the students in their studies. It comprises projectors and smart classrooms. The classrooms are also wi-fi equipped for the ease of students and the honours subject based classrooms are e- enabled.
  • Laboratories: The college has 8 laboratories. The laboratories have all the machinery and equipment necessary for practicals.
