If am a zoology major student and talking about my department,each and every teacher is helpful and friendly. They provide us with the proper notes and guidance required. Work load such as assignments and practicals are limited and quite manageable if done in time I choose this course because i love being surrounded with living creatures Talking about qualification of the faculty Our HOD is a doctorate Rest of the teachers are qualified too. Exams each semester is divided as: 2 internal exams (20 marks) End sem exam Students have to opt for 6 sub Major Minor AEC (Assamese for 1st sem) VAC (value added course) GEC(one subject from arts stream and vice versa for arts student)

In our college, the faculty are always helpful and their teaching methods are said as better than other colleges near our area. There are a maximum of 2 sessional exams held by every department in each semester and the final exam is held by Dibrugarh University.
