A NEWMAN COLLEGE REVIEW

What I Liked

First of all i love the place which have so many delicious food i like the most and it is non other than the canteen of my college where i go whenever i got a free period
Second i like to go to the library of the college which is super silent and feels relaxed for reading books

What I didn’t like

The place i dislike to go is the parking area which is full of mud.
Nesg place i dislikes is the green bench park that contaion so many insects and caterpillars which bitten me so many times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as i am interested in research purposes in physics and not only that this course gives me the way for my aim. As on looking to the review for teaching method, i rather say that it is not good because the concepts that are conveyed by the teachers is not easy to grasp and also sometimes we don't understand even if we listen to what they said. Termly exams are conducted according to the semester and the first semester examination is said to be conducted on october or november and the second semester examination is on april month.

Remarks:

As for the admission process i had gaven for allotment processes and on which i got admission on this college in trial allotment as well as first allotment but it was for bsc mathematics. And the main bad aspects i got from the college was that the college didn't provide the information about the admission process and the importance of temporary joining and so because i was disqualified from the university list. Then i approached college and find a solution for this and gave my course as in supplementary allotment and got the course i needed

What I Liked

Good sanitation facilities and safe drinking water
Improved infrastructure facilities and sick rooms for emergency cases

What I didn’t like

Should add more subjects to select MDC courses
Most students are influenced in parties.

Placement Experience:

Bachelor of commerce in Newman college provides placement oppertunities for students. Private companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS often visit the college for placements and banks like federal Bank, axis Bank also visit the college.

Remarks:

There was not any group discussion, interview or written test for admission the admission process was quite easy there was only a one on one conversation between the principal of the collage although there was help desk facilities.

My college

What I Liked

I like the idea of green benches in our college it will help us to build friendship with everyone in lunch break or after college class over we meet our friends and chat.
Our college provide big library for us I really like the infrastructure of it.

What I didn’t like

I think we need more practical session than theory.
Our college is full surveillance camera.

Placement Experience:

We have internship program from first year on wards. Our college also provide placement opportunity to the students like south indian bank, hdfc, fedral, etc and also some IT company. Our placement eligibility criteria is to get 65%in every semester exam.

Remarks:

I choose this college because it is famous for good teaching and the students graduate are in good position. There is no group discussion or interview for getting the college. It only good percentage in plus two.

What I Liked

Giving good facilities for study and big ground with open ground and Indore ground. Good canteen with special Verity foods . Newman college canteen foods are famous in social medias. Condecting good programs in every two weeks
Newman collage have big library with 50000+ books and with digital library all working days open. Collage have a friendly principle it's a blessing for students . Collage have a popular ncc group and nss group it's proud for their students

What I didn’t like

The canteen size and canteen area. Newman collage was small than other near colleges.not more promoting sports items in collage and not open indore stadium every time some time stadium was close not a good waste disposal system
Collage not have a store for students and printing centre. Not a public platform for intract with teachers and students. Not have a good sports trainer for to improve college athletes

Placement Experience:

The collage gives more placementmets for students last two months two big companys approach for placements and 3 or more students placed in that companys . Placement are regularly getting . Last 3 years more than 100 students placed in multiple banks by college placement with salary more than 50000. After b com iam choosing mcom (pg)

My college old collage and my parents also students of there . I heard about Newman college in my primary classes because it's a popular college in my district and my dream collage. Iam proud of a Newman student.newman college condecting every 2 weeks good celebration programs for students

Placement Experience:

Students can participate in placement training from the fifth semester to and sixth semester. deloit sib federal bank etc are the companies recently visited our college.10% of students are placed every year with high salaries.

Remarks:

Newman College, Thodupuzha Overall ranking by NIRF is 101-150 out of 200 colleges in India in 2021 and it was 151-200 out of 200 colleges in India in 2020, the admission process was not that hard or complicated. there weren't any entrance examinations only higher secondary is required for application criteria. doesn't get any reservation benefits in the admission process.

my review about my college

What I Liked

Infrastructure is updated and it provides safe environment for students in studies and other extra curricular activities and all those things.faculty is so efficient and supportive.they are ready for any assistance all the time
College also provides sports facilities for all students it consists of indoor and outdoor grounds and other courtes for sports.campus is so green and clean and therefore it have no pollution compared to outside

What I didn’t like

College has limited parking facilities and it isnt that much comfortable for the students who comes on vehicles and other ways.parking is full muddy and bad terrain shows the possibility of danger in parking spots.
Lack or unavailability of gym equipments and outdated gym is another loss of the college .it isn't noticed by the management and also doesn't care them about the gym in college, faculties are also not interested on gym.

Placement Experience:

College also provides placement facilities and job opportunities.many top companies came here for recruitment.recently mega recruitment were conducted with the participation of thirteen companies and other institutions.

Remarks:

It had a plus nacc accredited.it has also high pass percentage of students and also good faculty.fee structure were also compatible compared to other colleges.admission process were purely based on higher secondary results.

What I Liked

I love the college infrastructure. I like the social life in our college.
I like the college facilities provided by the management for the students.

What I didn’t like

I hate the mind of the faculties when a below average students make mistakes.
I hate the management for intruding on students personal matters.

Placement Experience:

Our college provide training and placements in campus from the placement cell programs. Lot of students are getting placed by many big companies every year in our college. Our college provides training at reasonable price.

Remarks:

Our college newman college didn't conduct any interview or group discussion or written tests for the admission process our newman college only consider the total score in the pre degree course scored by the student.
