Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College or BVNLC, Kolhapur, was established on 17th July 1982 and is part of the renowned Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. The college is affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and is approved by the BCI, and the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. Over the years, BVNLC has gained recognition for its quality education in law and has been visited and appreciated by prominent figures in the legal profession, including members of the judiciary, district bar associations, and the state and national bar councils.

BVNLC offers various law programs and courses like LLB, BSL LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, etc. Admission to the courses is done based on MHT CET Test scores. The MHT CET Law cutoff 2024 for the general category ranges between 65.34 and 86.23. The course fee for an LLB is INR 64,000. The course fee for 5-year law courses ie. BA LLB and BBA LLB are around INR 95,000. BVNLC also offers Diploma courses in Income Tax & Sales Tax and Labour Laws.
