Kerala Law Academy also known as KLA is the first private college established in 1996. It has been ranked 88th in Southern Asia by the QS World University Rankings and is approved by BCI. The college offers UG-level courses in the field of Legal Studies like BA LLB, B.Com LLB, and LLB. Along with undergraduate degree programs, the college offers admission to LLM and MBL courses at the postgraduate level.

The fee structure for BA LLB for 5 years amounts to INR 3.3 lakhs (total fees), LLB is INR 2.08 lakhs (total fees), and B.Com LLB amounts to INR 3.4 lakhs (total fees). The university administers the Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) for admission to BA LLB, BCom LLB, and LLB programs. Admission to the BA LLB and B.Com LLB courses is purely merit-based. In contrast, admission to LLB courses is based on the marks secured in the qualifying degree examination and personal interview round.
