State Government through a legislation and member of C-ouncil of School Education (COBSE) with Physics /Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science /Electronics / Information Technology/ Biology/Information Practices / Biotechnology / technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Englneering Graphics /Business Studies / Entrepreneurship as per table 8.4(Annexure-B) and obtained at least with 45% o marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in above subjects taken together.

D- Voc. Stream in the same of allied sector.
OR
3 years Diploma examination or any such examination from any recognised state board of Technical Educationor Sant Longowal Institute of Engg. and TechnologyLongowal with at least 45%  marks (40% marks in caseof candidate belonging to reserved category)
