B.Tech courses run for 4 years and require 10+2 PCM with at least 45%. BHMCT and BTTM are 4-year courses open to 10+2 students from any stream with 45%. BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc Multimedia, and B.Voc run for 3 years. BCA requires Mathematics at 10+2 level, while B.Com needs 10+2 Commerce with 45%. MBA and MCA are 2-year postgraduate courses. MBA needs graduation in any stream with 50%, and MCA needs BCA or B.Sc CS/IT with 50%.

The hospitality stream, including BHMCT and BTTM, is one of CT Group's main offerings beyond engineering. The B.Voc options in Hospitality and Beauty Therapy are aimed at students who want vocational degrees with industry-linked training.

CT Group of Institutions Admission Process

Admissions at CT Group's Maqsudan campus follow two broad routes. B.Tech students can enter through state counselling-linked seats, while management, hospitality, commerce, computing, and vocational courses mainly use merit or entrance-test based direct admission.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech admission at CT Group Maqsudan campus, students need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and at least 45% aggregate marks. IKG-PTU counselling is used for state quota allotment, based on JEE Main rank or 10+2 merit. Students can also apply directly to CT Group for management quota seats. Diploma holders with a 3-year diploma in a relevant branch can apply for direct second-year entry through LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test).

Hospitality and Tourism Admission

BHMCT, which means Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, and BTTM, which means Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management, are open to students from any stream. Applicants must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 45%. Admission is done through merit-based direct application to the CTIMT hospitality wing.

BBA, BCA, B.Com, and B.Sc Admission

These 3-year undergraduate programmes accept 10+2 students from any stream with a minimum of 45%. BCA applicants must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level. CUET scores may be accepted. The specialised BCA tracks in AI/ML, Data Science, and Full Stack Web Development follow the same admission process as the regular BCA course.

MBA and MCA Admission

MBA admission at CT Group is open to graduates from any discipline with at least 50%. Students may apply through CAT, MAT, CMAT, or direct merit admission. MCA admission needs BCA or B.Sc (CS/IT) graduation with 50%, and admission is through CUET PG or merit. Both MBA and MCA are 2-year courses with 4 semesters.

CT Group of Institutions Placements

CT Group of Institutions reports more than 970 placements every year across its campuses. More than 350 recruiting companies take part in campus hiring. For B.Tech students, the average package range is INR 4 to 5 LPA. Recruiters come from IT services, software development, BPO, FMCG, and hospitality sectors.

CT Group of Institutions Campus and Infrastructure

Students looking for private engineering and management colleges in Punjab often compare CT Group of Institutions with DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology (DAVIET), Jalandhar, and Lovely Professional University (LPU), Phagwara.
