The Joint Seat Allocation Authority released the round 4 seat allotment on July 10, 2024. Candidates who registered for JoSAA can check the round 4 seat allocation on the official website @josaa.nic.in. Candidates having their names in the list need to pay for the seat is July 15, 2024.

Candidates participating for JoSAA counselling Round 4 should also remember that, its the last round to exercise your Exit/ Seat Withdrawl option for IITs admission. In the case of NITs + System category, the Exit/ Seat Withdrawl option will become ineffective from Round 5.

To accept the seat allocated in round 4, candidates need to upload the documents. The list of documents required for JoSAA counselling are given down below. Further, JoSAA facilitates participants to opt for any one of the- Freeze, Float, Slide for seat in the next round. If you fail to respond/ non- choosing of freeze round will be consider as seat rejection. Such candidates will not be considered for seat allocation in the further rounds.

How to Check JoSAA Seat Allotment?

A simple step-wise process to check JoSAA Round 4 seat allotment is given below:

  1. Login @ josaa.nic.in using your Roll no and Password.
  2. Select the link labeled "View Seat Allotment Result."
  3. Enter the application number, password, and security pin for JEE Main/JEE Advanced 2024.
  4. Check your result on screen or Download your seat allotment Letter.
  5. Upload the documents required for verification
