SLAT 2027 registration is open for admission to five-year law courses at Symbiosis Law Schools in Pune, Noida, Hyderabad and Nagpur. Students can register and pay the entrance test fee by December 4, 2026. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will hold the two tests on December 19 and 26, 2026.

Applicants must also select their law programmes and pay a separate programme registration fee. Paying only for the entrance test will not make a student eligible for programme shortlisting, regardless of the SLAT score.

  1. Open the SLAT registration website and register with a valid email address and WhatsApp-enabled mobile number. Complete the OTP checks.
  2. Enter your personal details. Your name and date of birth must match your school certificates. Upload a clear colour passport-size photograph taken within the last six months.

  4. Fill in your academic details and upload the required category or disability documents, if applicable. Select the institutes and programmes you want.
  5. Pay the programme fees, wait for confirmation, and save the completed application, transaction details and receipts.

Test dates and city choices cannot be changed after the test fee is paid. The registration rules also state that changes are not permitted after registration, so check the full form before submitting it. For payment or application help, use Raise A Query after logging in with your SLAT ID.

SLAT exam pattern and selection

The computer-based test lasts 60 minutes and has 60 questions worth 60 marks. Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge have 12 questions each. All sections are compulsory, and there is no negative marking. Eligible PwD candidates receive 20 minutes of extra time per hour.

Each law school sets its programme-wise shortlisting cutoff and Personal Interaction (PI) schedule. Students shortlisted for more than one programme must attend the PI separately for each programme and complete all its required parts.

Under the announced selection pattern, the SLAT score out of 60 is scaled to 70 marks, while PI carries 30 marks. Institutes will publish their merit lists and further admission dates on their websites. The university may revise the schedule or selection pattern.

What to Do Next

Decide which courses and campuses you want before paying. Keep your school records, recent photograph and any category documents ready. After payment, check that your chosen programmes are included in the completed application and save the confirmation. If a payment is missing, raise a ticket in your SLAT account with the transaction details.
