Eligibility

The candidates from the native of Tamil Nadu state are eligible to apply. The outside candidates who studied their schooling in Tamil Nadu may also apply. The children of persons who have been serving in Public sector or government sector for the last five years in Tamil Nadu may also apply for TNEA.

The candidates must have passed the 12^th (intermediate) or its equivalent examination from the government recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with the percentage of 50% (for general candidates), 45% (for backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates.
