LBSITW a women friendly college

What I Liked

My college offers a all women environment that fosters leadership and Confidence.
The faculty is well qualified and infrastructure is good

What I didn’t like

Labs should be improved in my opinion as a student
Event management can sometimes be slow and inefficient causing delays in approvals

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as our seniors talk about it the highest package is 17LPA they make sure that we have enough skills to pass the tests that is conducted by the companies. And faculty will definitely help as build our skills

Remarks:

I chose those college for it's strong reputation,excellent IT program,experienced faculty,active technical communities like GDG,mulearn,IEEE etc.It offers great placement opportunity,well equipped labs,and supportive learning environment.Its location and affordability were also key in my decision.I gained admission through keam,which assessed my problem solving skills

LBSITW- An overview of the college

What I Liked

Our college has engineered WESAT, First Women engineered satellite
Campus fests are really good. The attendees can enjoy as well as learn new things.

What I didn’t like

Lack of internship opportunities earlier
The area of the college is less. It has less ground space and campus

Placement Experience:

Placements are good at college. Placement trainings are provided to students to make them prepared for the exams and interviews. Some of the companies that visit and hire from our college are IBM, Visteon, Guidehouse, Infosys, UST etc

Remarks:

The most important factor is the placement opportunities. The college has a good placement wing. As part of placements we are given opportunities to take part in Group Discussions, Interviews and Written Test. The college also provide training to prepare the students for placement.

About my college!

What I Liked

We have 5-6 computer labs with wifi facility, civil and mechanical labs, physics lab, chemistry lab ,library, robotics clubs, iedc club, iee cell, cgpa development cell, well furnished classrooms, canteen .... Hostel food is also great and fees are affordable.
Fests like YD ie YAGNADRUVA which is known as the queen of fests was conducted in our college. Other fests are PRAYAAG, YAVNIKA, EXPLORICA etc...

What I didn’t like

Space inside the campus is less. Eventhough it is less it is manageable only.
Great campus life but those who wish to have a co-ed education system ,this college is not recommended.

Placement Experience:

From the past last 2-3 years the placement rate has got a very much hype and ur us one the highest placed college. Starting from around 3 LPA the salary package has a rise upto11.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, TATA ALEXI, GOOGLE, NOKIA , RELIANCE all have placement services in our college.

Remarks:

I was availed to this college through the KEAM examination in management quota. Obviously I choose this college due to its quality education and high chances of getting placed from this institute as well.

What I Liked

Infrastructure faculty campus life teaching etc were very good

What I didn’t like

It was very strict coming to office and management

Placement Experience:

Placement is one of the most important things in our college. A lot of companies conduct placement drives and provide high salaries. The main factor is that even civil engineers can get placement in it sectors with proper training aids

Remarks:

The main factor that made me choose lbs was its placement opportunities. Lots of companies including TATA and L&T recruit from our college. Even a lot of us get placements there. The admission process includes an entrance exam

my words about my campus

What I Liked

campus is small but good. 6 infrastructure are thier and campus life is excellent
facilities are good and support our wishes.

What I didn’t like

Some times the management of the college is not good .
some times the water supply and lift maintenance is poor

Placement Experience:

The placement training starts in 3rd year and many companies interview us and select us according to our skills and knowledge. The college teach us how to attend an interview and what all qualities needed for us. 50 percent of students were getting placements and others opted for higher studies. I choose for higher studies after completing the degree

Remarks:

The facilities provide by the college is outstanding and but the campus is small and uniform is pretty comfort. we should score good marks in the entrance exam to enter the engineering field. I didn’t face any difficulties with admissions, the teachers and staff were friendly to the students and parents. They support our wishes and give guidance's.

LBS Institute Of Technology For Women - The best engineering college for women

Placement Experience:

There was a decline in placements for the year 2024 maybe due to the job market, nevertheless, many of us got placed. The highest package is 12 lpa and the average is 4 lpa. The eligibility criteria depend on the company, most of them require a 6 cgpa and above with no backlogs.

Remarks:

LBSITW is the first women's engineering college in Kerala. To get admission you have to write the KEAM exam, based on your KEAM rank you will be given admission. There are no group discussions or interviews after this procedure. The major reason for choosing this college is its promising placement cell.

What I Liked

friendly batchmates and seniors are the best thing of our college. our seniors are very helpful and give us guidelines. also there is no ragging in the college

What I didn’t like

college is has no good network coverage. no wifi ,infrastructure is not good as college has not much land . o

Placement Experience:

our campus provide good placement opportunities. students have no backlogs can appear for interviews, and in some cases, students with backlogs also get a chance to attend the interviews. students with a good CGPA have a better chance of being hired. the top companies that visit our college include Infosys, TCS, JP Morgan, Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, IBM, UST, etc. the starting package is 4.5 lpa.

Remarks:

I got admission to this college through the spot admission because the college I was allotted through KEAM was too far from my hometown.so I opted for this college and got a seat in the merit quota. The good placement opportunities and calm environment of this college made my parents and me decide that this was the right choice. students get admission through KEAM and other qualified entrance exams. other than this students can get seats by management and NRI QUOTA.
