Just about my college

What I Liked

Teachings of only few facilities, they make students understand the topic very well , and the important topics are mentioned
Maintenance of discipline inside the campus , we have to wear our uniforms on 3 days a week and they make sure we have it on

What I didn’t like

The campus is small, but still it's good
Strict rules and regulations, even if it's emergency we need to take a outpass

Placement Experience:

The placements are going well, we received few companies and only final years are eligible for the placements . Few companies like Deloitte, LTI Mindtree and intellipat , kotak and HDFC but regarding IT sector it was few

Internships Opportunities:

They are not providing any internships, we need to find it on our own. Like now in the 6th sem when they got to know that few students didn't find any internship and as it is compulsory to do an internship, the BCA dept hod has referred an internship

What I Liked

Campus life, there but of pressure and issues.
Infrastructure, even between renovation, infrastructure is good.

What I didn’t like

Faculties, because of their grudges against students
Security, security here is mean and offensive

Placement Experience:

The placement has its department with a full-time placement cell head to handle all the placement-related things. An internship in 3rd year is compulsory and the internship report has to be submitted on 3rd to the university without any mistakes with high accuracy

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted yet but seeing my skills etc, my college offered an internship in a partner company, but I didn't take it as I was still in 1st year. I've gotten many internship offers but I didn't take them up!

What I Liked

College infrastructure is wide and new lab is constructed
Campus life is good with all the friends in the college

What I didn’t like

No dislike in the college infrastructure for me
No dislike in the college campus and the environment

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are good the several companies comes to the campus to hire us in various domains according to the needs of the company even from our class few people are placed to it company

Internships Opportunities:

They provide us the internship from our college based on our interest according to our choice from AICTE and government certificated courses it is not compulsory to join the internship which is provided from the college

A student review

What I Liked

1. I like the library place which is come and very peaceful for us the students to concentrate on studies
2. I like the festivals that are conducted at every events that makes vibrant and enjoyable for students

What I didn’t like

Students cannot use the left lips are only for faculties if students looks is just punishable light and let us wrong because students have to climb up to 4th floor
The ground is too small for all the students to play together at every event or a sports even that is little big given be half to travel to some other college ground

Placement Experience:

The college placement for BCA is not as expected the college be the placement campus we receive of sales and money cannot jump into sales or it service like the Telecom Centre jobs learning it and getting into the telephone service which is spokenly unexpectable or the placement is not as respected

Internships Opportunities:

We are doing internship but it is not provided by college it was referred to us by some government website and through our connections we did not receive any internships from college side and that was very sad

SSMRV CAMPUS LIFE AND INFRASTRUCTURE

What I Liked

The washrooms are hygienic with a mirror and soap dispensers giving it a a feel of a neat and tidy place
Food places inside the campus like nescafe and cafeteria are affordable and plenty of good options are available at a student friendly price

What I didn’t like

Benches are bit old in few of the classes and v rarely it is seen that water problem is there in the washrooms
The college is near the road so sometimes traffic sounds can be a bit noisy for a few people those who don't like listening to that kinda sounds

Placement Experience:

Placement is done in companies like TCS, INFOSYS, Deloitte, EY, AMAZON, AIRTEL , KPMG etc based on our alumni selection after internship of 6 months compulsory anywhere which is stipend based and unpaid is also there at places

Internships Opportunities:

The college doesn't provide any internships we have to find on our own. They will be providing with assurance letter only. Right now I'm not doing any internship as I'm almost completing my 1st year only

What I Liked

I love the canteen...Itss goodd awesome cooked food and much more
The labs are amazingggg especially The chemistry onee Itss hella awesome

What I didn’t like

The things I dont like is the washrooms in the college they are Really Really dirty
Noo responsibility of teachers and dosent help at all

This college hass moree placements chances espically in wipro amd and much more and many many chances in it companies like oracle accenture and much moree their faculty provides best placement in order to enhance the upliftment of a child

The story of my life part -2 (College)

What I Liked

Cafteria and the theatre club also indoor games room such as caroom and chess
Loved the gym room aswell it was one of my favourite spot apart from cafeteria

What I didn’t like

More outdoor space needed as the current one is very less space.
Faculty should be more open to this generation than still being old school and adapt to the new generation way of teaching also very strict in few cases.

Placement Experience:

Good placement option from various companies freshers salary will be very less than expected but as I had dropped out in the final year I was not able to come part of the placement but has good good deal from company like KPMG and Deloitte.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes I was told to work in gold showroom as an sales executive with 300000 lpa which I refused as I had dropped out I didn't get much placement option but my friends got selected in Accenture, HDFC Bank, KPMG etc..

What I Liked

There is no that good infrastructure as they say.
There is a cafeteria which is always under renovation.

What I didn’t like

You don't have a place to study after class hours or something, it's just like go attend class or stay out.
In my opinion I didn't even feel good with the library facilities and the gym was mostly not able to be used

Placement Experience:

There placements but not that good enough. The package is also too low. The average itself is around 3.5. Th college doesn't takes responsibilities for internship which is compulsory in the academic it is students headache to search.

Internships Opportunities:

I have worked on two intership during my college days for my academic purpose where the college was not responsible regarding that. Even the mentors during the internship verification were partial like kind of favouritism

Pros and cons of ssmrv(check before joining)

What I Liked

The education and the faculty qualifications of the faculty to handle students is very good
Fests and the participation for fest and encouragement we get is very good

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is very bad college floods in case of heavy rain previous days
Campus life is not so great because of the small infrastructure

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are not so great but it will do the trick for freshers for a entry level jobs Average package in our college is about 4lpa And max is 7-8lpa For our department the placements are pretty high compared to other courses

SSMRV COLLEGE - Complete summary

What I Liked

The thing I liked the most was the Infrastructure of the Campus.
The Head of the Department for our Department was really a respectable lady and further could also become the principal. She has immense knowledge about any subject she handles

What I didn’t like

The politics between departments ! If you are from any other department apart from B.Com your voice won't be heard. They'll treat you like outsiders and complete support is only to the Bcom students
The college has parking problem many of the students helplessly park their bike outside campus causing problem to neighbours and also sometimes the Traffic police also get involved

Placement Experience:

The Placement is definitely not at all satisfying. The board placed during admission to attract students with the packages mentioned there is no were near to what we experienced. It is really terrible and the placement officer is not at all co operative. They offer you non tech jobs which is of no use to whatever you are studying and could easily find such jobs outside.

Internships Opportunities:

The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities even though intership is a subject in the curriculum it is solely the students responsibility to find a intership be it online or offline it doesn't matter to them.
