I chose this course due to the insight it provides with business. The faculty is very interactive and provides real world knowledge as most of the professors are from high end b schools with real world experience in companies like the big 4.
There was a written test and an interview for the admission in this college. A Jindal specific exam with qaunts and verbal analysis was taken and an interview was taken by the faculty asking your reasoning for joining Jindal Global University.
Read Full ReviewThe first year has all the foundational subjects and in the second year, we get deep learning about subjects like finance, Marketing, HR, and OB. In the final year you get an opportunity to choose a total of 11 electives, 6 in sem 5 and 5 is sem 6. You can choose the electives from other schools as well like law school etc. The evaluation includes a 50% weightage for internals and similar for that end-term examination. A semester has 3.5 months of classes and 0.5 months are catered to End term exams. The components in the internals include 10 marks for Class participation, 20 marks for mid-term, and another 20 marks for project work or quizzes. They offer a merit cum means scholarship based on your percentage in grade XII. The faculty are great. All of them pursued their PhD from Premium institutes like IITs, IIMs, etc. They not only focus on theoretical knowledge but also use a lot of case studies to better the learning experience and again are tested on the same in the exam.
No idea about the final placements and I want to pursue an MBA after BBA here hence I have already started my preparation for CAT also. As far as placements of internships are considered, few good companies come to the campus whereas others are not very great. Some of them won't even give a stipend.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course as I wanted to pursue sports analytics in the future and this course would help me build a base for the same. The faculty is decent and in some cases really good. When it comes to the exams they were timely and easy. The fee hike policy isn’t much so it shouldn’t affect a student really.
There are decent/ good placement and job opportunities available. A few recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft and Asian Paints. Average packages are close to 4LPA and highest packages can go upto 10LPA as well depending on the student profile. I plan to do a placement after my degree, same as 60% students as well.
Read Full ReviewThe qualifications of the teachers are very high here—professional teaching staff with a ratio of 1:9 I.e. teaching-students. Most professors have completed their Ph.D.s and many have been studied from abroad and have more than one master's degree. The Fees as compared to other colleges are still the same if we compare it to a campus lifestyle.
Placement for an MBA is average here. The average package that brings here is about 6 LPA and the highest up till now is 10 LPA. There is just 40 percent of Placed students for the current batch.
