What I Liked

It's location: it is located near Marina beach and Chepauk stadium.
It's academics : all the faculties are well dedicated towards ta there classes

What I didn’t like

Language issue: as I am Hindi guy I gave a lot of problem in language and even in food.
Ground : I really don't like that my college ground is occupied by locals here

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement in our college. Our college offers internship in our college hospital itself. Stipend during internship is 30000/month After completion our course we can apply for any hospitals. My plans after getting degree is to prepare for neet PG exam.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes we have 1 year internship program. In that we need to work in our hospital that if attached to college. There we work as a CRMI . We were paid 30000/month for that. After internship only we are given our degree.

Short review about omandurar medical college

What I Liked

College infrastructure is very good and the environment is also nice
There is sports and cultural meets were we can enjoy
Faculties are very friendly and helpful

What I didn’t like

Campus is small as it is in the middle of the city
There is no auditorium for the college as its own

Placement Experience:

As it is mbbs we will be having number of opportunities after this no need to worry about it and the diginity and respect we can own after this course is very well and of course we have to go for pg to get more salaries

Internships Opportunities:

During the last one year we will be having an internship program in which we have to work in the hospital in various other departments like medicine surgery pediatrics etc we will be getting 25000 per month as salary

You can be a good Doctor

What I Liked

The one thing I like about the college is my course.I love it .The facilities available here help us to study a lot.We have multi-speciality wing in our hospital.Faculty here is the gem.They are working a lot for the betterment of college.
Our college's location. It is the centre of the attraction. Transortation easy.Bus, metro , auto are easily available here
Infrastucture of the college is so attractive.
Cultural events and inter College events.

What I didn’t like

Area of the college is not that much vast.
Student union is not present in our college.only student's council is there.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement.If we want to work in any government hospital we have to clear UPSE . If we have to study PG we need to clear NEET PG exam. As we go through the students who cleared this exam is good in number.

Internships Opportunities:

We intership as a part of our curriculm.one year intership at various department is must for completion of the degree. Medicine,surgery,Gynecology,Orthopaedics,Paediatrics,Psychiatry,ENT,Ophthalmology ,Community medicine,Forensic medicine ,Anesthesia,Emergency medicine these are various department where we will do work. We have admission day duty,night duty,OP duty,OT duty here. The min salary per month in 26000
