IHM Shimla offers courses such as M.Sc in Hospitality Administration, B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Diploma in food production, and a Diploma in food and beverage service. The admissions for all the courses are done through online mode. For admission, students must qualify in the 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject. 

• IHM Shimla Admission to B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is granted to candidates who have passed the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Admission to the B.Sc course is based on scores secured in JEE exam conducted by NCHMCT JEE. 
• For admission to Diploma courses, the admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination followed by a personal interview. The institute also conducts a Personal Interview for granting admission into Diploma in Food & Beverage Service.
