My College Life

What I Liked

Location, Classroom, Parking Facilities was good, Play ground, And Indore game, etc
Ovreall Infrastructure was good with all essential facilities.

What I didn’t like

Early the washroom was not so good. But now infrastructure is very well develop.

Placement Experience:

Till 2013 placement and job opportunities were not so good but the Faculty helped us to find internships and job. Now have a separate team to look after it. At that time we use get opportunities from Banks, RCF,JSW, and local businesses.

Internships Opportunities:

I had done my 2 months internship at RCF, Thal. It was during vacation before final year. This was suggested by my college and it helped me a lot to learn and develop my knowledge and skill sets. I understand how each department works.

Good college for the students

What I Liked

Our college have a huge library for the students and the teachers too
Our campus have a jimkhana for the students with the all the basic sports accesories like badminton, bat, football, also they have 2 big tablet tennis tables for the students the best thing that the girls have a separate room to play games

What I didn’t like

They can upgrade there classrooms into the smart classrooms
They have low specs computers in there practical labs

Placement Experience:

Students get prepared for the placement by the teachers while they are persuing there classes college will conduct lectures on job opportunities and placements recently more than 15 company's visited our college for the placement to the 3rd year students

Facts about JSM College, Alibag!

What I Liked

Participation of HOD in various activities for students' skill development.
Programs conducted by the NSS and NCC departments.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is undeveloped. Classroom's infrastructure should be improved which help make the environment more convenient learning.
Some faculties teaching methods are too fast.

Placement Experience:

The college provides an in-campus placement. The average starting package is 3L-4L. The nearby companies come to the college to pick the individual based on their needs. Once a student based on his skills was placed in Google with a starting package of 52 lpa.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't got any internship yet as I'm in my second year now. However according to my information, the college does not provide any internship. Directly students are placed for jobs in the respective companies.
